One of our 3 favorite VRBO homes (others are Taos NM, and Central Coast Oregon). We did see elk in the yard, fox pups down the street and moose a short walk away. We loved it and hope to return. The kitchen is so great I enjoyed cooking most of our stay (horray... a waffle iron!!). Five meals out at Rapids (Lodge) and Sagebrush.

We had a phenomenal 3 weeks in the cabin - it is
beautifully furnished, well-stocked with essentials
and located in a wonderful spot. We saw elk & fox &
moose in the yard during our stay, and we loved
being so close to both the national park and the
lakes.
We highly recommend this cabin - the owners have
done a great job making it a real home away from

Thanks for 3 wonderful weeks! The hiking, boating was spectacular + the cabin was perfect. Saw a mother moose and her calf 5 feet from the back door a couple of nights ago. And 4 young male elk in the front yard before that. We miss Grand Lake very much + will be back!

| The chalet was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed a 4 night stay in early June '07, and we were extremely happy. We were thrilled to see deer in the yard on 2 mornings, a gray fox not far from the house, and moose at the lake entrance. If you are looking for a peaceful and serene place, then you can't go wrong by renting this chalet. |

| What a beautiful area! The drive coming from Denver was breathtaking. The kids were delighted with the snow, especially since they had never seen more than a few inches coming from central Texas. The cabin was cozy and just perfect for our family. We went snowmobiling with On the Trail and had a great time. We would love to come back some day and would definately recommend it to our friends. Thanks so much! |

We came up for a full weekend of snowmobiling and as our luck always has it, it was below zero. We had 2 great days up in the Rockies and was great to drive right from the house. We have snowmobiled this area for over 20 years and it was nice to have a house to cook our own meals and relax.
We thoroughly enjoyed the comfyness that the kitchen and whole house provided, giving it a homey feeling. Thank you.

We are sorry to leave - we have enjoyed this wonderful place immensely. It is so close to Rocky Mountain National Park - one of the loveliest places in the world. The cabin is cozy, comfortable. We were thrilled to see animals & birds we've never seen before. One day we came home to find a moose & her baby munching the vegetation in your front yard. A little fox was nervously trying to shoo away the big creatures (she must have had a den there). The broad tailed hummingbirds amuse us with their territorial possiveness of the hummingbird feeder, and the mountain Chickadees, Cassin's finches, pygmy nuthatches and violet green swallows were all delightful. We feel this is like home, and coming from Texas we enjoyed the cool mountain weather. We'll miss it! Thank you for making this the wonderful place that it is.

We had such a wonderful time here in "Grand COunty". We took 4 hikes in RMNP and enjoyed all of the moose and elk. Our boys enjoyed the bumper boats and go-cart racing in Grand Lake. We even took a 3 hour cruise around Grand Lake (sounds like Gilligan's Island) on a pontoon boat. The father's day brunch at Grand Lake Lodge was a memorable event.
