Our stay was a gift for my husband's 50th birthday ! He was very surprised, not to mention we both fell in love with " tiny logs !" Comfy A-frame with everything that you need, & beautiful views out on deck, relaxing hottub, fresh mountain air, all the scenery was just breath taking. Even a little chiminea, which I had to experiment with. I made hummingbird food, & had a lil friend there all the time, so I guess I made it right. Even let me take several pics of it, close up. Just a place that takes your mind to peaceful thoughts. I didn't get to meet Erika or Tim, but I did get to chat with Erika thru e-mails, & she was very pleasant, & courteous. Words aren't enough to desecribe this type of serenity. It's just beautiful!! We hope to return again, & I'm not waiting for my 50th b-day !!

| I can't say enough about the breathtaking views from the deck! My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. Generally we head to the beach this time of year but decided to change our plans for our anniversary this year, and we are glad we did. We slept in the loft and had the pleasure of waking up to beautiful sunrises every morning. Bring your camera and telescope if you have one, as the stars are countless in abundance. I was weary from the pictures on the website that it wouldn't be "mountainy" enuough, but it's very cozy and has a "homey" feel to it. I will definately be making arrangements to return. My only complaint is that we went to the mountains to escape the politics and crowds of the DC area and were a little dissapointed that there was a small political banner tacked to the side of the house that is visible upon arrival. That did detract from the initial appeal of the house, but in no way kept us from enjoying ourselves once inside. Two BIG thumbs up! |

We try to get away every year for our anniversary. In 22 years of marriage, this was the best, most romantic stay we've ever had. The view, the location (we love to take hikes in the woods and this place is surrounded by them), the hot tub, the privacy, the way it is laid out... we'll never forget our stay.
I'm not sure when we'll be able to get away again, and we almost never go back to the same place twice... but I'm sure we'll try to find a way to get back to this place! |

| My boyfriend and I stayed at the cabin over Labor Day and it was the best getaway we have ever had. Quiet, secluded, romantic and beautiful. Cannot wait to return to our version of paradise. |
