Ventana Al Mar is a paradise. Once you arrive at the beautifully appointed house with it's incredible ocean view, you just don't want to leave! It feels like your home away from home. Upi, the
manager, is so welcoming and attends to your every need. She arranged a wonderful meal for us, a
chef came to the house and cooked us a delicious dinner. The beds are very comfortable - such a
treat and not always what you get when you rent or stay at a hotel. The location is ideal, close
enough to walk to the beach or into town. The town itself is terrific, lots of great little restaurants
and shops, but it still has a very casual and laid back atmosphere. This was our 2nd stay - the first
time was with our kids who loved the pool and the beach. They also loved staying in the separate
casita. This time we came alone and had a wonderfully peaceful and romantic vacation. I highly
recomment this property for families or couples. There is a great selection of movies for all ages,
games and books. But mostly everyone just enjoys the serenity, beauty and comfort of Ventana Al
Mar. Thank you Mershons for another unforgettable experience.

A week in Paradise is how I would describe the incredible experience I have just had in Ventana Al Mer, possibly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Up on the hillside with a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean, a crystal clear salt water pool (very soothing) and vibrant foliage this wonderful house effortlessly combines the art and beauty of traditional Mexico with all modern amenities.
I am fortunate that my job has allowed me to travel all over the world and I have stayed at many top notch hotels but I can honestly say that nowhere else have I felt as inspired by my surroundings or treated as well as I was at Ventana Al Mer. The joy and harmony I felt there has followed me back to Los Angeles making me wonder if maybe, in Ventana Al Mar, I have found another home. And now, having already promised to take along some friends, I can’t wait to return.

We walked into the house and were immediately breathless. The house is beautiful, the views are amazing, and the way the place as a whole makes you feel is unforgettable. We had a group of 7 for a birthday weekend and spent afternoons at the pool grilling, late afternoons at the beach, sunset at our house (for the best views!) and had a chef cook our meals. We never had to leave!! Best weekend ever. "

This home was like staying on our own personal 5 star hotel with a personal staff to care for us. When I show people the photos they are universally awestruck by the beauty, color, and comfort of Ventana al Mar. We stayed with my family ranging from a 70 year old Grandma to a 7 year old neice, and everyone said that this was by far our best family vacation yet. The rooms are nicely separate and each very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen and family room were the hub to which we all gathered for fresh meals, games, yoga, movies, and breathtaking views of the bay. The living room and dining room overlook the pool, where the kids were able to spend 95% of their time and be supervised from above - and frequently joined because it was so inviting! Sayulita itself is a lovely town with excellent food, shopping, beaches, and welcoming people. It was helpful to have the email of information before we left, and a book of local information handy at the house. I have already booked my next visit!

The ambience of the house with the tile work, great local art, and views is warm and fun-spirited. It's easy to instantly feel like your at home instead of just another hotel or resort. We spent hours lounging on recliners enjoying the views and drinking blended margaritas. The house is incredibly clean, the outdoor showers are super unique, the pool clean and refreshing, and the BBQ a must use. It's also located in a great area of Sayulita with easy access to the beach and town. I can't stop recommending it to friends and we will definitely return to Ventana al Mar. Thanks Mershons!

We had such an incredible vacation in Sayulita and Ventana al Mar was the perfect base for our adventures. The house was PERFECT in every way ... amazing architectural design, beautiful and comfortable furnishings, colorful artistic touches, breathtaking views from every room. I had to tear myself away, and can't wait to return.

To tell you truthfully, words cannot describe this home well enough. It is clear that a lot of thought and personal care was put in to each and every detail of this house. The home is romantic, clean and tastefull. All of the rooms are unique and none are lesser than the other. All of the bedrooms are equally beautiful with views of jungle, ocean and the pool. I'll miss the outside showers and all of the pretty tile work.
Ah and last but not least, we were introduced to Upi, who is manages the home. Upi was like an aunt. She set us up with home cooked authentic Mexican meals. She was gracious and warm and gave us the best advice on where to go and what to do.
I felt like a queen for one week.
I'll never forget it and can't wait to return!

| JUST GREAT ! We spent a few days at Ventana al Mar with some friends, and enjoyed it a lot. The house is lovely decorated, each room has its privacy, the swimming-pool and BBQ area are great too. The view to the bay is wonderful and the house about 20 mns walk by the beach to the quiet village of Sayulita. We have just regretted not to stay longer ! Thanks for that nice week-end. |

| My friends and I enjoyed staying at Ventana al Mar very much. The home was incredibly unique and beautifully decorated. The setting with lush plants and flowers couldn't have been more perfect. The employees were very pleasant and helpful. |

We loved being the first guests at Ventana al Mar. The house is gorgeous and furnished with such care and good taste. Sayulita is a colorful little town with many very good restaurants. We visited PV frequently and did some serious shoping.
