I have recently added the guest book function to the website. To get it going, I wrote to previous guests inviting them to comment, which is why all the early comments are made in the same week - the week the function was added!

Spent a memorable, romantic and delightful week at this apartment, with its beautiful view of the park (and the weekly market), and a short walk to the metro, and away from the noise of the crowd... close to everywhere, and yet peaceful and cute.

Barbara, Your apartment is amazing (your photos don't quite do it justice), had a wicked time there and just wanted to say thank you, I can see why you fell in love with it and the location, it was so relaxing to have a place with such a well equipped kitchen and with such good markets close by. I do like what you've done with the bathroom,it does look brilliant. Lastly I'm pretty keen to stay there again in the summer, probably some point in June or July.

We stayed for 8 days and loved both the apartment and the location - just a few metres from the Metro, close to a fascinating labrynth of narrow streets crammed with shops, bars and restaurants, Sacre Coeur, Pigalle and Montmartre.

Barbara, I loved your apartment and have stayed in several other places and this was a great value. The location is perfect with the metro and bus stops in the area. It is quiet and love the Friday evening market and especially Sacre Cour. Would highly recommend this place, I can see why you spent your time writing your book there for several months.

What a wonderful location, just near Gare Du Nord where the Eurostar comes in. Then across the road is the metro which is the best way to get around once in Paris. The appartment was perfect, just the right size and the Friday night market was wonderful. Would love to stay there again.

'I am a Christmas Eve Christian and going to mass at the Sacre Coeur will be a highlight of my life - even though I had to climb - 700 ? 7000? steps in my new boots! A few friends and my son ("I didn't think your place would be this nice mum...") descended on me this time - one at a time - and all of them were astonished that the moment they got out of the station, there was the apartment. If you ever wanted to sell it, I would be very tempted ... '

This was a perfect place to explore Paris. I've stayed in the centre before and found it touristy and crowded. Your place was like being a local and yet being close enough to everything to walk or get to easily via metro. The open air tourist bus outside the apt was fantastic, as was the fresh market on Friday arvos. Thankyou so much for an unforgettable stay. BTW, your renovation is first class - very stylish! |
