| My family stayed the weekend of 7/11/09 at Chapek House. Everything was handled professionally and prompt and Gloria was gracious with answering questions and offering suggestions. She even searched for and purchased a playpen for my grandson's stay! Beautiful home and so convenient to everything in town or visiting the neighboring cities. We ate both weekend mornings at the cafe on the corner, just a few doors down the street. I recommend this property highly. |

| We had a lovely visit for our daughter's graduation from Cal Poly this weekend. I planned this for a whole year and was not disappointed. Your house is charming and the gardens inviting. Thanks for helping us create family memories. The McRaes, Fremont, CA |

| We visited our daughter at SLO during Mothers Day Weekend. What a great house and location. The backyard patio is beautifully landscaped and very peaceful. The inside of the house is very homey and well maintained. Don't pass this place up. Real Gem!!!!! |

Fabulous! We thought the pictures looked great on the website, but they actually pale in comparison to the house. The home is in the perfect location, walking distance to downtown, yet far enough away to have a peaceful retreat at the end of a busy day. Highly recommend. We look forward to visiting again! |

My family had a wonderful time at the Chapek house. The kitchen was so open and airy. My daughter was especially charmed by the upstairs bedroom with its sloped ceiling and comfortable bed. We also really appreciated the fact that while the neighborhood was very quiet, we were within walking distance of charming downtown SLO. |

We stayed at the Chapek house for 4th of July Weekend in 2008, and just like our previous stay last summer, it was PERFECT!!!! We have three small children, 6 yrs, 3 yrs, and almost 2yrs, and they always have a blast. They call the house our "Blue House" and constantly ask when we can go back. The walk to downtown is easy, and we did it every morning for coffee, and every afternoon for a treat. The Chapek house is clean, well stocked and totally comfortable. In fact we are headed back in 4 days and I can hardly wait to get there! Thanks Gloria! |

| My teenage son and I just spent two weeks at Chapek House and would highly recommend it!!! The inside is beautifully decorated and the outside landscaping and flowers make for a peaceful, serene retreat. We used the house as “base camp” to head north to Cambria, Morro Bay, Hearst Castle, Paso Robles wineries and south to Avila Beach, Pismo Beach, Solvang and Santa Barbara. The town has rich character with its history and collegiate feel. I would recommend using the books left by Gloria to drive around town to view the historic homes and buildings and learn about their origin. The Farmers Market was fabulous with the delectable produce and gorgeous flowers. Our entire experience was A+ and I have already recommended it to friends and clients. |

| We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Chapek House! Gloria's home served as a gathering place for 3 generations (of two families!) to enjoy a weekend celebration of our oldest son's college graduation. We were able to take full advantage of the beautiful backyard deck to host a celebration BBQ and it was the perfect place for others to stop by to say "hello!" We hope to visit again soon as our youngest son beings his college life at Cal Poly in the fall! |

| We stayed at the Chapek house and were so grateful for the warm, welcoming air. The house was beautiful, and layed out very well for a small group. My 20-month old enjoyed the fountain out front and the fans throughout the house, and he had plenty of room to run through the house. They do a great job of keeping it nice, warm and cozy environment for everyone to feel like a lovely, family retreat. The best part to the end of a long day touring - there were multiple restaurants within walking distance that Gloria had recommended; making our evening dinner decisions much easier. The neighborhood was close enough to downtown to walk, but far enough away to have a good, quiet ambiance at night. Thank you!! |

| The Chapek House is very welcoming, very comfortable and relaxing, not stiff or fussy as some Victorian homes can be. The landscaping is beautiful and well tended, the rear patio area is quiet and private, a wonderful space to read and enjoy a cup of tea or host a gathering of friends. I can't over emphasize the location of this charming house -minutes from downtown with all the shops, restaurants, theaters and historic Mission, super easy access to Amtrak, the airport, the 101 freeway and highway 1. I always stay at the Chapek House during my trips to the Central Coast and would strongly recommend this residence. |

I had the good adventure of staying at the Chapak House for two months while between homes. After living in the country this was just perfect. Walking and riding my bicycle to everything I needed. Farmers Markets in town on Thursdays nights and great restaurants very close. Weather was perfect as usual. Hot Tub and rear deck conducive for small gatherings. The house is well maintained and decorated tastefully. I highly recommend. |
