Working in Smith Rive in children's dental van. Enjoyed coming back to a real house instead of a hotel room. Loved walking on the beach, neighbors are great. Was a nice home away from home.

Thank you for providing a serene, comfortable place to call home while we visited Crescent City. We recommend the Damnation Creek Trail in early morning (check tide times) and the Boy Scout Trail in afternoon for the beautiful sunlight views of the redwoods. Our entire family had fun walking to the lighthouse and seeing the Trees of Mystery. Good trips for both our preschoolers, toddler, and their grandparents. Overall, relaxing and beautiful! Thank you very much.

Walking distance from the house is Pebble Beach with hours of agate hunting and sand castle making for all. Great tide pools and seashell collecting at St. George Beach. Dining areas that were good...The Beachcomber lunch or dinner, very casual and the Pizza King for the family. This house is a great find, we will definitely be back in the future. Thanks for everything.

This isn't just a house - it has the feeling of a home. We were so comfortable out hiking, clamming, visiting local sites, walking the beach morning and evening, going to the rivers Smith and Klamath, and fishing on a half day boat tour. There were 3 generations in the five of us and all did as they chose - coming together in the late afternoon for movies and supper and sharing. This was a first for us to stay in a house rather than camping and in this foggy climate the weather didn't faze us in the least. Yes, we did have some sunny days too!

p.s. Stout Grove and Fern Canyon are MUST SEES. Beautiful trails and scenery. We loved going from the beach to the Redwoods. It was a beautiful trip and a wonderful stay. Loved the house, it really felt like home.

Where do we start describing our exhillerating vacation...We were able to visit the Trees of Mystery, forest Cafe and Stout Grove. Would recommend Stout Grove for its natural beauty and freedom to explore on foot and in your car. We loved having a home to come back to at Aurora del Mar! It felt like we were at our home house back in Phoeniz, AZ! Everything was clean and inviting - especially enjoyed Pebble Beach being right out front!
We also visited Ocean World and local antique shops. We also ventured out to Fern's Canyon and Gold Bluffs Beach. it was well worth the $6 park fee! Again, after a long day of hiking and walking on the beach, it was great to come back to Aurora del Mar which had all the ammenities we needed!
We were able to travel down the Klammath River on the Klammath River Jet Boat Tour. We spotted Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles and Osprey along the river banks and learned a lot of history. We will definitely be back!

| We just returned from our trip to Cresent city and couldn't have been happier about the accommodations! The best part about the house was that it was immaculately clean. The sheets and towels were also clean and comfy. We felt right at home. Thanks for making it so easy to take a family vacation! Our favorite part of the trip was talking with Paul Bunyon at the Trees of Mystery in Kalamath, CA. It will be a family vacation we will never forget! |

Clean & cute! Much more than we expected! This little beach house is comfy and a lot bigger than we expected. The fully stocked kitchen was great! We got some groceries and felt right at home :) Our kids loved it too! We hope to stay here again in the future! Great house, great owners & a spectacular view! We couldn't ask for anything more!

What a nice little house. Very warm & cozy & clean. We had a wonderful stay, and intend to come back when we have more time. I highly recommend the Nautical Inn up in Smith River. It's about 15 miles up the 101 and it is a little pricey, however it is well worth it. Right on the beach with a very tastey menu. Thank you!

It worked out great at a great price compared to a hotel room!! Owners are very friendly & accomodating as well. Highly recommend staying at their property. |
