My husband and I just returned from a week in this beautiful apartment. The location was perfect--in Palermo, close to Ave. Libertador so that commuting anywhere in the city was easy, but amazingly quiet at night. The neighborhood is exactly that-- a neighborhood, with small grocery stores, laundries, restaurants, etc. The flat is also very close to the wonderful parks in Palermo, where we used to jog in the morning (along with many BA locals). The flat itself is perfect for two, and has everything we needed. The owners are extremely helpful and accommodating.
We definitely plan to return for another visit. |

What a relief to arrive after a long trip at this wonderful place. We were immediately captivated by the light streaming through the large windows and French doors; the beauty and elegance of the furnishings, polished wood floors, marble surfaces, as well as the layout of the apartment. Because the building is situated on a corner, the living room has windows on two sides, rare and special in a city apartment. Also, it opens onto the terrace which is partially shaded by tall trees, reaching up from the street, for an unusually pretty urban view. The main bedroom, with a comfortable king-sized bed, includes loads of room for storage in the several closets. It also opens out onto the terrace which is lined with well-groomed potted plants. The charming bedroom and study on the upper floor has its own terrace, with bench, table and chairs. The comfortable furnishings throughout have obviously been chosen with great care and with an artist's eye. The soft warm colors of the fabrics, the freshly painted walls and the many paintings by local artists all reflect a modern sophistication which we found restful and lovely. The owner met us at the building to hand over the keys. It was very easy to follow his directions and arrive at the door by legitimate taxi from the airport. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cookware, and dishes so gleaming everything appeared to be brand new. Two short blocks away, there is a supermarket, easily navigated and well-stocked. We appreciated the steady flow of instant hot water and the luxury of three bathrooms. The window shades are attractive and all of them work. The quiet well-kept neighborhood offers many restaurant choices, a handy coffee shop, and easy access to services (ATM machine, laundry) and transportation. In the living room we found an inviting library of current books in English, novels and guidebooks, as well as a helpful basket full of maps and brochures. We really appreciated the bus maps that had been left for our use. The beautiful polished wood dining table was the perfect place to spread out guidebooks and plan each day. We appreciated the CD player, for trying out newly-purchased tango music, or listening to the CDs provided. Many other things were there for our comfort, including two umbrellas (in 10 days, it rained one morning.) Every question we could possibly have had was answered in the comprehensive and thoughtful info sheets which were emailed to us in advance of our visit. Packed with information about the area as well as the apartment, we found them very helpful. Our only regret is that because Buenos Aires is such a compelling city we didn’t spend as much time as we would have liked in this charming apartment. |

| We have stayed in VRBO housing in Provence, Wales, Prague and Budapest, and this Buenos Aires apartment beats them all! It is efficient, spotlessly clean, comfortable, quiet, and extremely well located. Many superb restaurants are close by, the finest parks in BA are within close walking distance, as is the race track. Bus and Metro (Subte) stops are convenient, and the neighborhood is pleasant for business and tourist visitors. |
