| We stayed in the "Cabin in the Woods" for 4 days in May 2009. There were 12 family members, 5 children and 7 adults. The cabin was perfect for our get-together. There was privacy for the kids to roam free outside. We had plenty of space to store our belongings. The upstairs master suite with its own balcony was very private. The huge porch was a great added plus. The hummingbirds were the most colorful that we have ever seen. The accessibility to the town and everything else is good. We found Angel Fire has alot to offer. Thank you Mr. Countryman for keeping your place so adjustable to group needs. The place is in good running order and very clean. |

Wonderful house! I was so excited from the minute we pulled up to the house. It is very well stocked, clean and cozy. The ski slopes are a quick 5 minute drive away. Our little girls loved playing in the snow in the back yard. We defintely felt like we were in a secluded cabin in the woods.
Mr. Countryman, we thank you for the opportunity to stay in your lovely home and we appreciate your hospitality! |

Very nice, clean and relatively new cabin with all the amenities. Would stay there again. Only 1 minor issue: The Dish Network satellite package is barebones. After long day of hiking we wanted to kick back and watch MNF, but no ESPN!! |

Homeowner Response:
I will agree with your comment on the DISH package and I had considered upgrading, but you are the first person to mention it. I appreciate your suggestion and I will look into upgrading to a package that offers a better variety of channels.

| We stayed at cabin in the woods over Labor Day week-end. It was great! We had deer off to the side of the cabin and Elk in our backyard. I sat out on the deck every a.m. with my coffee and watched the hummingbirds. It was so peaceful just what we were looking for. The accomadations were Great. It is a wonderful place to get away to for some RR. |

| This is a nice retreat from the heat in the summer. It is tucked away in the woods, with deer, elk, chipmunks, etc. roaming around the place. We took pictures of the deer in the driveway. The covered porch is a great place to read and unwind after a day of golf or hiking. |

| We stayed in "The Cabin in the Woods" while attending a wedding in Angel Fire in June 2008. There were five in our party. The accommodations were great, very clean and homey. It was a peaceful area and quite enjoyable to sit on the porch and have our morning coffee. We would definitely stay there again. |

February 21-25, 2008 The Cabin in the Woods is a lovely place to stay especially in the snowy season. It was very well supplied and clean, comfortable, and cozy. It provides plenty of windows to reflect on the beauty of nature and to catch sight of the lovely deer in the woods. It is quite near to town, but was a quiet isolated retreat which we thoroughly enjoyed. We look forward to staying there again in the future. |

The Cabin in the Woods is a beautiful place. It is tucked away in the trees exactly as shown on the website. I spent many hours walking in the area, it is so beautiful in every direction you look. I enjoyed seeing the wildlife. My favorites were the little squirrels in the front yard. I loved to sit on the porch at twilight. It is so quiet and when darkness falls you won't believe the stars. My husband greatly enjoyed the golf - what a beautiful course. I am thankful for everything we experienced there. We hope to go back soon. |

| We just stayed in the Cabin In The Woods this last weekend May 25-27. There were 10 adults and we were all comfortable. The accommodations were very good, the place was very clean and even had a few groceries which was very nice. If we hadn't brought our own, we wouldn't have starved to death. It was very nice not having to bring our own linens and such. FYI, for anyway planning to stay, I think the local grocery closes around 6 or 6:30pm. The cabin was very cozy, and you really did feel secluded. Three elk walked right across the street and we were able to get some really good pics. If we go back to that general area, we will be sure to try to stay there again. |

| We stayed in the Cabin during our spring break in March and absolutely loved it! It was like new and very roomy. The master upstairs gave my husband and me the privacy we needed. Every room had it's own tv and the kids enjoyed playing the video games. We weren't sure the location was close enough to the slopes, but the drive was only about 5 minutes and the parking was not a problem. We will stay there again if we go back to Angel Fire. Enjoy! |

| While we have vacationed in Taos and Colorado many times, this was our first trip to Angel Fire. The cabin is great. Lots of room and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. It seems to be a new property and was very clean, well furnished, with great beds and linens. The area around the cabin is spectacular and you feel very secluded. We had hoped to arrive by 6pm the day of our arrival, but an ice storm in Texas and then lots snow coming into Angel Fire delayed our arrival until 11pm. The next morning Angel Fire was paralized til about midday in clearing the roads. We were stranded at the cabin without food provisions. The property manager and his wife graciously transported us by snowmobile to the grocery store to get supplies. I've paid more to have less fun. The cabin was perfect, the snow was beautiful and the skiing was great. |

| Our family went on our first ski trip. We stayed with some friends in the Cabin in the Woods. When we first arrived there was very little snow and we were worried the skiing may not be so good. We were very impressed when we arrived at the cabin. All accomodations were more than acceptable. Even the kitchen was furnished with more than we have seen at other rental properties. The setting was beautiful, especially after 52" of snow fell during our stay. So needless to say there was more than enough snow for skiing and playing. The woods behind the cabin were beautiful with all the snow that fell. We look forward to coming back in the summer season and eventually again during skiing season. The owner of this cabin has been so generous and very helpful when we had questions. He provided us with more than enough information for our trip, since we had not skied before. Our trip was memorable for so many reasons and it was nice to have a great place to stay. |

The Cabin in the Woods has only been available for rent since November of 2006, so there aren't any guestbook entries yet. Hopefully with the many pictures on my personal website you can see that I have tried to furnish the house so it will feel like your own home.
