| We had the most enjoyable cozy stay at Maison Sarlat! The house has an amazing pool for a wonderful stay in the country during the summer, however, we enjoyed a romantic fire every night of our winter stay. The house is so incredibly charming and equipped with everything to make your stay easy and perfect. Walk into the mid-evil town to indulge in the amazing market that Sarlat has twice a week. Perfectly situated in the Dordorgne Region. Xanthe and Hamish are a joy to do business with! They had a bottle of wine waiting and the fireplace prepared upon our arrival!! Thank for such an amazing stay in your country house, we would love to return again! |

We have just returned home after spending a very enjoyable week in your house. Thank you so much for sharing it with us and for all your local knowledge....very helpful knowing where to eat and where to avoid. The Michelin restaurant was excellent and very good value!
We would recommend this house for children and adults alike as there is so much to do within Sarlat and the immediate area. The house is very nice with everything that we needed for our holiday, we particularly appreciated the lovely bed linen and towels and the food that you had purchased for our arrival.
The house itself is a lovely old stone character house and is very comfortable for a family and is well equipped.
We would certainly return and would not hesitate to recommend it to others as there cannot be many holiday houses such as this in such an excellent location. |
