1/13-17 2009 Dear Lois, We totally agree with your past guests-the Hula House is a true gem! The eight of us (including a 1yr and 5yr old) felt so at home here....and appreciated all the amenities, whether it be beach toys or board games (we spent days putting together one of your 1000 piece puzzles!and enjoyed the comfort of haveing meals at home between activities. We DID, however love our Tuesday nite dinner most at Pinkys Pupu Bar and Grill, complete with happy hour shaker-ritas, and hand delivered meal from the chef & most impressive display of balloon animal making. That started off our vacatiton and we ended it with a trip the the infamous Buzz's Steakhouse for a scrumptious lunch including "sexy" soup and artichoke surprise, both to die for. Not even a day of rain could dampen the pleasure of our Kailua visit. We will definately spread the word about this lovely vacation spot that you never want to leave, Mahalo!! We just returned home from a wonderful week in Hula house where we celebrated our first granddaughter's birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and all its immenities. We loved the openness, gentle breezes, beautiful grounds, the comfortable beds, and all the provided furnishings. We especially enjoyed the Plumeria tree, the Bouginvilla, the Mango tree, and vine covered barbecue patio. Thank you for a most memorable Hawaiian stay. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. Sincerely, Janet Butts |

| This house was VERY clean, spacious, comfortable and was convenient to town, the beach and all major roads. The neighborhood was quiet and very family oriented. Our family was comfortable and would certainly stay here again in the future. |

Thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at the Hula House. Accomodations were better than expected. Our girls loved having their own bedroom. I personally enjoyed having high speed internet to keep on my volunteer role in our local soccer club SurDel Girls Soccer. My wife enjoyed the Lanai and actually got to finish three books!
Hope to drop in again in the future Lois! The Fodor's |

Hi Lois, We've had a lovely time here at the Hula house and in fact, our friends here in Kailua, the Davises , are interested in it as a rental for their family when they come here from Texas this Summer. Besides leaving the house tidy and locked up, is there anything else we should be doing to check out? We leave here early in the morning tomorrow. Mahalo, Julie

Aloha Hula House, Kaneohe Bay will be Vern's Bay for us from now on. We scattered him off the shore from the Yacht Club and the kindness shown byt the boat driver, his wife and our friends is unforgetable. also memorable is the Hula House itself. We are 2 couples and "mama Murielle" and the stay here was comfortable and dondusive to all kinds of fun besides our more serious purpose. Great Decor! Comfortable beds, pretty garden, well appointed kitchen also. Mahalo!

We had an amazing time this week. Our "home" was one of the best parts about our trip. This house and Island are truly paradise. We loved the short stroll down the street to watch the sunrise in the morning. We are from Seatle, so the warm sunny weather was a nice welcome. We are the Wilson family, and we feel very fortunate to have had such a beautiful vacation. Mahalo!

The Hula House has been greatly enjoyed this past week. We have loved the open windows and the lanai. The facilities are comfortable and were great with and for our grandchildren. My husband and I met in Honolulu 37 yrs ago for his R&R from Vietnam. The bag below contains souveniers we had since then. We are leaving them here where they belong. We missed an ice storm in the midwest while er were here. We are all going back to cikd weatger, But we will be warmed by our memories of Kailua.

Lois- Thanks for the wondeful visit. The master bedroom bed was the best we've ever slept on! The childred had plenty of room and especially enjoyed the closed in porch. It's always great to stay with in walking distance of the beach- though we did get out to bellows on the weekends. Thanks again!
