5/14/09 My wife and I (in our 60s) just spent a week at this lovely apartment. We were in Boulder for a niece’s graduation from CU. The pictures and description of the property are completely accurate. The owner was very responsive to our questions as we made arrangements for the rental. The apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived. It is in a lovely neighborhood and was very quiet. I had wondered about the futon bed. It is a bit lower than a standard box spring and mattress arrangement but turned out to be quite comfortable. Downtown Boulder is about 2 miles away. We had a rental car, so getting around was no problem. But we could have easily walked to the nearby shopping center with its Whole Foods market (under the Wild Oats name) and several restaurants. We bought cereal, milk, juice, and fruit and prepared breakfast at the apartment. The well equipped kitchen would have allowed us to do much more. The only limiting factor for more ambitious cooking would have been the small refrigerator – although it was fine for our needs. The bathroom and shower were large with plenty of hot water. I would not hesitate to stay at this apartment again or to recommend it to a friend.

The apartment was fantastic! Clean and modern, beautifully decorated, with plenty of natural sunlight and a gorgeous view of the foothills. Location was more than ideal with hiking and biking trails, the bus and plenty of wonderful restaurants just outside the door. I felt at home right away with Julie and Derek...incredibly great hosts who were full of helpful information about the area. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone interested in spending time in Colorado.

This is a beautiful apartment in Boulder that is perfect for a single or couple. The apartment is modern, clean, private and well-equipped. It is light and bright, and centrally located close to all the great activities that Boulder has to offer. We had a fantastic stay for two months and enjoyed our time tremendously. The best thing about the apartment was definitely the wonderful owners, Julie and Derek, who are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They were very accommodating, helpful and showed us great hospitality during our entire stay. We would definitely hope to stay at this apartment if we visit Boulder again.

"Thank you so much for accommodating us while we were between homes. The apt was comfortable and cozy and the location is great. While we're certainly looking forward to our new home in the 'burbs we will definitely miss our daily walks to Wild Oats."

This is truly Boulder's little GEM! The apartment is well equipped, efficent, love the in floor heat, it's new and clean. The view of the foothills was great, while looking out the window enjoying my morning tea. Great location, a short ride or nice walk to the Pearl Street shopping area, very centrally located to everything Boulder has to offer. The owners, Julie and Derek are the nicest most accomodating people I have ever rented from, they want you to be comfortable while enjoying their little gem! Thank you so much Julie and Derek! I can't wait to come back.
