Quiet and cozy, peaceful and comfortable..loved your cottage Mark. Enjoyed the wonderful weather, eating on the porch, watching the stars from the balcony and that beautiful lake view. (Did I mention the white-tailed buck bounding across the back yard at sunset?
My dog thanks you for providing such interesting scenery!) See you next trip. |

| My husband and I recently celebrated an anniversary trip to Arkansas and stayed in this cottage by the lake and loved it! It is well-kept, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The setting is tranquil and serene. We enjoyed visiting the surrounding area very much but the most memorable times are the mornings. We loved having our morning coffee on the downstairs deck, watching fish jump from a glassy lake within a few steps from the deck, squirrels playing on the lawn and beautiful birds perching near our noses. Mark, thank you for the use of your quaint Lake Sequoyah cottage!
We found the cottage to be very welcoming, comfortable and clean. It's obvious you take pride in the grounds as well; lawn, flowers, etc. were beautiful and colorful! (although I think we missed the blooming of many of your garden flowers by just a few days ). The beds and pillows were very comfy and everything was well stocked (towels, paper goods, eating and cooking utensils, etc.). Good job on the "welcome packet" info; we found it extremely helpful. I loved having the availability of the kayak and was able to use it all 3 days of our stay. Fireflies??? I almost forgot they exist; haven't seen any in 40 years!! Thanks Mark for having them delivered to your backyard during our stay! Thanks also for ordering the beautiful weather for our visit .... it was perfect!
We hope to stay at your lovely cottage again in the future.

| We booked this lovely little cottage for a family vacation over Spring Break. It was everything it appears to be on the website. We were right on a beautiful lake, my kids loved fishing in the lake and playing in the water. The cottage itself is beautiful, very inviting decor. The downstairs patio was used every day for our dining. It was amazing to wake up every morning and look at the window next to the bed at the most beutiful sunrise over the lake. I would stay here and I would recommend this cottage to everyone. |

Our family enjoyed our visit at your cottage. Wished it had been a bit warmer...but we slept soundly and the spring blooms were very pretty. The Bluff steakhouse and overlook view were great!

Our family really enoyed our stay at the cottage. This little house has everyting we could have possibliy wanted. I loved waking each morning being able to open my eyes and look at the lake. We all loved eating breakfast and dinner on the patio. sitting on the upper deck sipping a good glass of wine and watching the kids play and fish in the lake was great. We can't wait to come back, just my husband and I. Thank you, Mark, for letting us enjoy your home.

Your home and it's location were wonderful! But what made it really special were all those extra special amenities and comforts you offer. We've stayed in homes and B&Bs from Montana to North Carolina -- and yours is truly a delight! Opening up your kitchen cupboards and seeing an array of glasses and dinnerware was a real delight; your bed linens and towels made it feel like home and, again, all those extra special little touches which aren't expected but truly appreciated!
