We had a WONDERFUL family vacation at this well-equipped lake home with all the comforts of home. We loved all the wildlife (especially the ducklings, turtles, ground hogs and of course, the fish). Our dog is clinically depressed since returning to city life and our children's expecations for catching fish will be unrealistically high for all future fishing trips. It was quiet and beautiful morning 'til night. We really enjoyed cruising Leech Lake in the pontoon boat we rented and having a private dock was really nice. We highly recommend this vacation home.

This is a beautiful house in a rustic setting. There are wetlands farther down along the lakeshore, which are fun to visit in a canoe. The boundary of Superior National Forest is just down the road, which has some primitive hiking trails - just be sure to take bug spray!

Had a nice time with my extended family. We really enjoyed the large, kitchen, dining, family room. Lots of relaxing and game playing. Rented a pontoon from Birch Ridge one day and had a great day on the water, fishing, swimming and touring! Thanks!

Snowmobiling in the area is great; seemingly endless trails that come right to the front or back door of the cabin. Snowshoeing was very accessible, and I was able to traverse all around the property with ease. Though the drive to the cabin is a bit long, the stay and relaxation up north are worth it.

Wow! Joy caught a really nice 7-8 pound northern on a tip-up, and Lots of Jumbies and large perchies. We kept our limits of perchies and threw back gobs of 'em. Joy also caught a poor man's lobster. Mmmmm, mmmmmm... pass the butter! Thanks!

We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the lake and the sound of the loons. Dad and the kids enjoyed a canoe ride and we all enjoyed s'mores in the evening. We biked oneday for 13 miles to the headwaters of the great Mississippi River. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We'll enjoy the lovely maple syrup and think of our great vacation. Best wishes!

Blake and I had a wonderful time. Blake spent a lot of time fishing and swimming. He caught a 24" northern and I will return to CO with a nice tan. Hope to be back next summer.
