We loved our stay. St. Augustine has become my favorite Florida city. Everywhere there is something interesting to see and do - packed with history and charm everywhere and wonderful uncrowded beaches just across the bridges (even a dog friendly beach at Vilano). Previous years we stayed in a hotel on the beach but have found renting your cottage so much more enjoyable. The location is ideal for exploring the town and your clean attractive cottage seems to have everything we could want or need. We were able to easily walk to restaurants, all the historic attractions, or just wander the quaint side streets. Even with a months stay we ran out of time before seeing everything and, of course, we really appreciated your being so welcoming and helpful Jeff. Thanks. We will be back!

| We spent two nights here while attending a wedding. We enjoyed our stay. The location was in walking distance of all the amenities of town. The house was clean, cheerful, cute and cozy in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and reading between festivities. We would definitely stay here again, and do recommend it. It is a much nicer alternative to staying in hotels. |

This is a great location on a quiet street. The owners have done a nice job on renovations. The kitchen has new appliances and just about anything else you need. Also, there are comfortable beds and a great shower for relaxing tired muscles.
It will take at least a week to take in all the sites. Bring comfortable shoes and plan to walk. We recommend taking the trolley tour first so you can get an idea of what is there to see. (They will extend the 3-day ride pass to 5 if needed) The best time to bike is late afternoon although we found that the old town is not as bike friendly as it is “foot” friendly. The best gift shop we found is the city owned shop at the visitor’s center by the parking garage. Proceeds go back into the city restoration projects. They had really nice things that you don’t mind taking home. Our favorite restaurant was Harry’s. We dined there 3 times and it was great every time. Scarlet O’Hara’s has a BBQ pork sandwich that’s awesome! We enjoyed the tour of the Old Jail (Caught the trolley over) and the lighthouse tour. You will need to drive over for this and it is worth the time. The National Park beach is also nice ($5 per car) and chair/ bike rentals are available. It is just past the lighthouse.
