| We stayed at Almost heaven 2 separate weeks in July 2006. There were 8 of us, my wife and 4 children, daughter's boyfriend and my mother-in-law. It was wonderful. The house is immaculate. We grilled on the deck almost every evening, even watching a wedding ceremony on the beach. Dolphins could be seen frolicking in the surf each evening. The beach is the most-beautiful I've ever been on, and I've lived in Florida 20 years. We took a charter fishing trip with a local captain and landed a 32 lb wahoo, several 20 lb kingish, dolphin and snapper. There is a fantastic restaurant in Port-St. Joe called the Sunset Grille which I would highly reccomend. My children were never bored as the house has ping-pong table, kayak, satellite TV, and lots of other kids nearby also vacationing. I cant wait to return next year! |
