| Two years ago, we came here to get a rest from work and stress. I can't believe we waited two years to come back. One look at the ocean from the deck, and all the stress goes away. The air is super fresh and the sounds of the ocean are so soothing. Between sleeping here and getting a spa treatment at Stevenswood,our body, soul and relationship now feels refreshed. Desire is what we all desire. |

| My husband and I were lucky enough to stay here for one incredible evening in July, 2008. The deck overlooking the ocean was the perfect way to de-stress with the sound of surf; we'd love to come back for the hot tub in cooler weather! The owners and staff made sure our stay was first-rate with information about local wineries (even setting up private tours)and what to visit/where to dine in the town of Mendo, just a short drive away. We spent the rest of the week at the owners' other property, which had a more casual vibe (perfect for a girlfriends' getaway or family reunion). But for pure romance, we recommend "Desire." |

This place is truly amazing. Absolutely
private and romantic with the sounds of the ocean heard from every room, yet very close to the village of mendocino and great restaurants. Our visit refreshed our soul and our relationship. We will be back! |
