This was our 2nd year in a row at this cabin, so you can tell we love it! Last year I had opportunity to visit the cabins on either side of this one and the difference was surprising - neither of them were as well maintained as this one.
I would not hesitate to recommend this cabin to anyone - you will not be disappointed. Rebecca (the owner) was fantastic to deal with and went out of her way to make sure everything was in order before and during our stay.
I would agree with others that the fitness centre closes too early (7pm) but this is a resort issue and not a reflection of this cabin and it's owner. Having said that, we were working out past 7pm and they didn't kick us out (waited 'til we were done) but we felt bad about making them wait so we did hurry it up. |

| The cabin was absolutely wonderful. We will definately go back. It has one of the best veiws of the cabins at Legacy Mountain Resort. When I told my sister in law that we were going to stay in a cabin in the mountains (she's from Chicago)she was envisioning a rustic place with no amenities. When walking in we were all immediatley impressed with the view. Also, the cabin pretty much has whatever you might need as far as utensils, paper towels, etc. Just bring a hair dryer for the ladies; everthing else was there. While the ladies were soaking in the hot tub, my brother in law and I played some pool, air hockey and foozball. It was very impressive. There is also a fitness center and pool at the top of the hill for the complex. My only complaint was the the fitness center didn't open until 1000 am. But, everything else was so great that it just didn't matter. The cabin has a sense of being away at the top of the mountain, but you are only a few minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburn and the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. |

| We enjoyed our stay at Almost Paradise tremendously. The view is amazing, the area is beautiful. The house has everything you could possible need. My kids loved all the games and I would guess everybody does since the air hockey pucks were pretty worn out. That was Ok we found a store nearby and purchased some new ones so we and future guests could enjoy the game at top speed! I will definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family. |

| We just got back from Almost Paradise, which I might add, is aptly named. We loved your cabin. The layout is great, with my husband and I having some privacy on the lower level away from our 16 and 19 year old daughters who used the main floor bedroom. We enjoyed a few games of air hockey and pool too, which was a plus. The view was amazing! Each evening we would sit out on the deck on the rocking chairs and just relax and enjoy the view. The paved, curbed, road up the mountain made the ascent so easy... much easier than many of the other mountain roads in the area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! |

WOW!! We arrived at Almost Paradise very late into the evening and were very nervous about being able to access the cabin since we were unfamiliar with its location; however, much to our surprise, it was the smoothest transition we've ever experienced (unlike some in our past!) The roads were paved widely, and the ascent to the top of the Resort was comforting and secure (no dirt or sliding on gravel roads!) Exceptional facility with NO bugs and best of all, we didn't feel like we had just stepped into the movie Deliverance! Which if you've seen the movie, you know exactly what I'm talking about...and if you haven't...don't watch it before you head to the Mountains!
I have to say, the cabin's ammenities exceeded our expectations, and when we awoke the following morning...WOW! The views were unbelievable - breathtaking!
We will definitely be booking a vacation at this same cabin in the Fall so we can take advantage of the beautiful changing of leaves!
We recommend Almost Paradise to EVERYONE!

| WE STAYED FOR A WEEK IN AUGUST OF 2008. IT WAS GORGEOUS. THE VIEW WAS SPECTACULAR. THE JACCUZZI ON THE BALCONY WAS GREAT, WE EVEN USED IT WHEN IT WAS POURING RAIN AS IT WAS UNDER THE SECOND BALCONY. THE ONLY WEIRD THING WAS AT NIGHT IN THE BEDROOM ON THE LOWER LEVEL YOU COULD HEAR ALL THE BUG LIFE OUT SIDE, IF YOU DID NOT HAVE THE AC ON. IT DID GET COOLER AT NIGHT SO WE TURNED THE AC ON LOW TO DROWN OUT THE LOUD BUG NOISE. THE HOUSE WAS IMMACULATE. CLEAN AND UPDATED. THE FACT THAT YOU ARE ABOVE THE CLOUDS WAS AMAZING. BRING YOUR DIGITAL CAMERA WITH SOME EXTRA MEMORY CARDS. THE CABIN IS CLOSE TO DOLLYWOOD AND THE STRIP 5 MINUTES. IT DOES TAKE A GOOD 3 TO 4 MINUTES TO GET TO YOUR CABIN ONCE YOU ENTER THE COMPLEX. THE ROAD ZIG ZAGS AND REMEMBER TO PUT THE TRANSMISSION IN SECOND OR LOW ON THE WAY DOWN THE CAR CAN PICK UP ALOT OF SPEED. THE GYM ON SITE WAS NICE BUT CLOSES TOO EARLY.AS THE POOL CLOSES EARLY ALSO. MY KIDS WERE SO ANXIOUS TO GET BACK TO THE CABIN TO ENJOY THE VIEW AND THE AIR HOCKEY. AMAZING VIEW AND HOUSE HIGHLY RECOMEND.THERE WAS A WINE BOTTLE OPENER ON SITE, THE WASHER DRYER CAME IN HANDY, THE JACUZZI TUB INSIDE THE DOWNSTAIR BATHROOM WAS RELAXING. TAKE IT FROM SOME CITY FOLKS THIS PLACE IS A GREAT GETAWAY FROM THE BS OF THE CITY LIFE.. ENJOY NO REGRETS WE WILL BE GOING BACK. |

| We stayed at your resort in April 2008 for our 8yr. wedding anniversary. We've stayed in mountain cabins before near Pigeon Forge but were very relieved to see these were scorpion free. We will return and we've picked out just which cabin we prefer to stay in. We also had never before seen the art district & found that by staying in your resort this time. | WoW!! I don't know if there is any better word to describe the view. This place was wonderful. Very quiet, relaxing, and peaceful. We had everything we needed. The game rooms kept my 4 boys entertained all week (along with the hot tub). If you want to spend most of your time in PF or GB, this is the place to stay. Easy drive to either place. The owner was great! Every question was answered, and I felt 100% secure with our payment transactions. The pictures on her website are almost 100% accurate. The mountains are much more beautiful in person! The keypad deadbolt worked great, NO KEY NEEDED!!! The pool was open, but VERY cold!! It is at the top of the mountain. Thanks again for letting us use your paradise! |

| Soak in the hot tub at sunset while gazing at the mountains in the distance, and you will know why this place is called "Almost Paradise!" It is a home-away-from-home with many bonus features. Our family enjoyed cabin time as much(or more?!) as hiking at the GSM National Park and visiting Dollywood. I am impressed with the prompt "customer service" from the owner. We recommend it!! |

| My wife and I stayed here two weeks and absolutely loved it! Gorgeous cabin loaded with everything you need and lots of extras. The reservation process was honest and easy. The cabin is located close to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg, but its also far enough away that you don't feel like you are staying in the city. The sunsets off the back porch were spectacular! I highly recommend Almost Paradise for you next getaway. |

| Our families truly enjoyed our stay (July 25-31)! The children enjoyed the cabin as much as the adults. Your amenities were superb. It was clean and well organized. You do not need to leave the cabin to enjoy your vacation. The hot tub was the all time favorite followed closely by the pool table. To see the full moon over the mountains at night was breathtaking. We were very impressed with your cabin and it's spectacular views. It far exceeded our expectations. God's awesome creation was easily viewed from all the picture windows available and the nice patio to relax on.
We enjoyed the hot tub every evening after dark and it just added to our relaxation. We also enjoyed the game tables you have there. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back and recommend it to our friends.

| What a great view and the accomodations were excellent will diffently come again. the location was excellent away from all the hussle bussle but yet within close proximity to everything we wanted to do. the only thing i would suggest is on your dish network tv package you need to include ESPN it was on the tv upstairs in the pool table room on cable which was odd. other than my need for sports info this was one of the best get aways we have had in years thanks again |

| WOW! What an awesome time we had at your cabin. My wife and children all truly enjoyed every minute. In fact, the kids seemed like they wanted to just stay there rather than go to Dollywood. I think it was the pool table, air hockey, fooseball, and jacuzzi that did the trick. Beautiful cabin, wonderful view, quiet environment... all this and more made for us a very relaxing time. | Nice cabin with a great efficient layout and wonderful amenities. The view is the best part, Simply incredible! You can see Ober Gatlinburg a few miles away over on the side of another mountain. We were also just 10 minutes from the front gate of Dollywood and because of the direction we drove in from we were able to drive right in without sitting in that long line that forms from the parkway. Great stay. |
