| After an extensive search for a suitable place for us to stay, we found Jodi and Peter's place. We absolutely LOVED it. Best features, CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN, has all amenities including beach chair, umbrellas, washer dryer. We are a little particular in where we stay and we so thrilled to have found probably the best place on S.Padre Island. Thank you. We plan to return and tell our California friends about this wonderful spot. |

We had a wonderful time at your condo. Everything was exactly as you promised. Thank you for all the wonderful extra touches....they made all the difference....the closet of beach chairs, toys, etc; the extra beach towels for our use; fully stocked kitchen with every utensil, dinnerware, and cookware we needed to prepare meals. There is absolutely nothing that you haven't thought of. It was like being in our own home. And we treated your home with the care that we treat our own.
I am a very, very fussy person when it comes to cleanliness, and staying somewhere other than our own home. Your condo is immaculate. Everything is so spotless and fresh.....furniture, linens, pillows, appliances. And everything is neatly organized. I'm impressed! I think we are soul sisters! I loved all your notes and labeling...it was very helpful.
We enjoyed talking to Juan. He is very helpful, and is just a sweetheart. He is the Edgewater Ambassador. The grounds are so well maintained, and the pool was refreshing and clean as can be.

We want to tell you how much we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your condominium. If you will have us, we definitely intend to return! We typically try to take a beach vacation every other year...
Your unit was LOVELY. I loved its upscale feel, and all of the extra touches made a difference. It really was like a home away from home! You guys have thought of everything. I even used your electric mixer one day (just made pudding, nothing fancy...)!
The complex was lovely, too. The pool was so clean. The view was amazing!
We picked up a few of your business cards and will definitely be telling friends and family about your unit. We're so glad we found you on VRBO! Many, many thanks.

| We just got back from a 5-night stay at your condo and had the best time! The condo is so nice and accomodating -just perfect for our family. The grill and free wifi were big selling points for us. The fully stocked kitchen was also a huge bonus, as well as the filtered water. We have been to South Padre many times and stayed in many different condos, and yours without a doubt was the nicest! |

Words could not begin to tell you what a fantastic time we had at SPI. What a BEAUTIFUL place! Your condo is amazing and far exceeded our expectations. You need to congratulate your maid; she does an awesome job for you.
Juan (groundskeeper)was a pleasure!!! He also left me a newspaper at the front door in the morning.
We could not believe how nice and warm the water was. In April I spent a week at the ocean and just stepping into it gave your ankles freezer burn – the water at SPI was beautiful!!!!
We went parasailing and that was a blast. For the most part we just kicked back at the condo. I got a great tan!!!!
THANK YOU again for sharing your beautiful condo with us. It made for a PERFECT mother/daughter trip. I hope to someday go back again with my husband!!!

We had a wonderful time on Padre Island! We rode four wheelers on the beach, parasailed at Breakaway Cruises, did the Eco Cruise at Dolphin Docks, did a bay fishing trip at Breakaway Cruises and also one at Dolphin Docks.
The Breakaway Cruises fishing trip was priced a little higher than the Dolphin Docks ones, but the boats were more stable in the wind and the crew was friendlier to the boys. So we would go with Breakaway Cruises again for fishing.Our time just hanging out on the beach was much too short after we did a lot of the activities that the island has to offer.
Oh well, I could never get too much of the ocean. It was so relaxing to enjoy our meals on your balcony and sit and watch the ocean. We enjoyed the grill and used it 2x day. Your condo had everything that we could ask for and we appreciated your little notes left everywhere. The boys of course wanted to stay and live there! We had shrimp one night at Dirty Al's-good prices and shrimp but not much of a place to look at. The boys enjoyed it though. Mexican and shrimp at the Big Donkey was good and well priced. We were a bit nervous that we would be surrounded by noisy spring breakers, but found just the opposite. The condo was very quiet and had no college kids there. Liked watching them on the beach though.
We fell in love with Juan, your groundskeeper. He was very helpful and keeps the place looking very nice.It was hard to leave and go home! Thanks for making our trip so comfortable and easy!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! What else is there to say?!? We had so much fun. Our 4 year old daughter cried this morning because she is not ready to go home yet.
This is our second year in a row on SPI and our first at Edgewater 302. It WILL NOT be our last. YOur second home is beautiful. We have been so very comfortable here. Thanks for all you've done to make is special. We can't wait to come back next year!

You and Peter are such great landlords. You keep your Condo in such great condition - so clean - especially the bathrooms. And is it so nice to have nice sheets, bedspreads, towels, etc. Our previous Condos had the thinnest sheets and thin towels as well and the bedspreads were atrocious.

We had a great time in South Padre Island. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful beach condo with us. It is a beautiful unit and a perfect place for a couple. We found it to be clean, quiet, and relaxing. Thank you so much for all the amenities that you include for your guests. We met Juan Flores. He is such a nice person and such a hard worker. He does a marvelous job maintaining Edgewater and keeping up with the beautiful lawn, garden, and pool area.. We found a great place for seafood about three blocks from the condo. It is La Jaiba Oyster Bar. The address is 2001 Padre Blvd. They have terrific grilled and fried seafood. We liked it so much that we ate there twice. It's family owned and they have been in business for 30 years we found out. We didn't want to leave but we are planning to go back hopefully before the summer is over. We would like to stay longer next time. South Padre Island is a beautiful place to visit and your condo is the best place we have ever stayed at. Again, thank you so much for taking such good care of your guests and making us feel right at home.

Thank YOU for letting us stay in your beautiful condo. You guys did a terrific job with the re-model. It is updated, clean and so cozy! If we get back to SPI in the near future, we would love to stay there again! As far as I am concerned, there is little else you could do to make the stay more enjoyable. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, the complex was quiet and the condo itself was so charming!

We left comments in the guestbook for you at the condo, but also wanted to leave comments here for all to see who have not had the opportunity to endulge in such a beautiful condo.
We loved our stay at the condo; everything that you would have wanted was there for us and we felt so lucky to be able to relax before our beach wedding on 11-29-07. As a bride, it was so wonderful to be able to get ready and then walk down to the beach right from the condo to the love of my life waiting for me in the sand among the sea gulls and the sounds of the ocean. We could not have asked for a more perfect day or a more perfect place to stay than in your condo at The Edgewater!
We will definately be back again!
And we took some business cards to give to friends who may be looking for a great place to stay on South Padre.
Jodi and Peter, you both are so cordial, kind and probably do not realize how appreciated you two are to all of us that have stayed at your lovely "second home". It is amazing and anyone that is looking for a great place to stay that truly emulates "home" you have found the perfect match with Jodi, Peter and The Edgewater!

Wow, it's been such a great year. Peter and I want to take a moment and thank everyone who has rented our condo in 2007. We appreciate it and the opportunity to serve you. Thanks for being part of our Edgewater family.
I did want to mention in October 2007 we got new impact resistant hurricane proof windows and a new back door to the deck. Boy do they look great! We are always trying to do some upgrades or improve the place so we can all enjoy it for years to come.

Just a short note to let you know we had the best time last week. Your condo was beautiful and in the perfect location. We went to Sampi's, Amberjack's, Sea Ranch, D'Pizza Joint - everything we had was delicious. We did our horseback riding on the beach and loved it - I'm attaching a pic. The people were great to work with because we had to cancel at the last minute due to some rain and they were very understanding and we ended up doing it on Wednesday. We also had a great dinner cruise one night. Again, thanks for everything, we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

We had such a wonderful stay in South Padre last week, and the condo is just superb! We really appreciated all of the thoughtful touches, and how well stocked, decorated, and well-cared for the condo is. We anticipate booking again at some point in the future, and imagine that you will have many repeat clients.
The king bed was especially comfortable. We slept so well every single night. Perhaps a combination of the quiet complex, the ocean, and the excellent mattress.
The best part of the trip was watching the full moon rise over the ocean while sitting on the balcony. It was simply magical. Thank your parents for the grill (we read the many lovely comments in the guest book, and then realized as we were driving across the causeway that we were so busy that we forgot to leave our own!). We brought delicious food items from Central Market in Austin, and grilled hamburgers one night after swimming in the ocean. The wi-fi, grill, and balcony overlooking the ocean were definite selling points for us in choosing the condo. We feel very fortunate that we were able to book the only three nights that were available during a two-month period! It is a testament to the quality of your condo, and your thoughtfulness as owners. Thank you for sharing it with us, and we hope to visit again.

He had so much fun chasing the seagulls and riding the boogie board you guys provided!
