There is no better place to stay on Kauai! The resort
itself couldn't be more conveniently located - right
on the beach, across the street from a major
grocery store/pharmacy/restaurants, down the
street from the Coconut Marketplace (movies, free
hula shows, restaurants, shopping) and the
community children's playground (massive plus
great snorkeling, all in one spot) and conveniently
located between the north (Hanalei/Princeville) and
south (Poipu) sides of the island. The Madden's
condo is even more luxurious, beautiful and
spacious than shown on the photos...and they were
an absolute pleasure to work with. So professional,
caring and kind. We will not stay anywhere else on
Kauai! |

We stayed for one week at this fabulous condo which was beautifully decorated and had everything as described in the unit information. We loved the location and proximity to shops, restaurants and activities. Our drawback was 5 out of 7 days there was clouds and rain. However we still managed to swim in the pool, if the sun came out for an hour we were there. Without hesitation this is a wonderful location ( weather you can't control). We spent a month all total in Hawaii and this was OUR FAVOURITE PLACE. Thank you for sharing.

| Our family had a wonderful time staying at the Madden's condo. Everything was perfect, I would not have changed a thing. We enjoyed all of our meals out on the Lanai. Everything was so convenient, with the grocery store across the street, the elevator right to our door, the delivery of fresh linens everyday, and the pool and ocean just steps away. The staff were all very accomodating, my children loved that they could feed the Koi every morning. Our favorite day was our last day there-we stayed on property the entire day going from the beach to watch the sunrise to our room for breakfast, down to the pool for a play date we set-up with new friends, back to the room for lunch, back down to the beach and then dinner at the bar oceanside. It was so nice to not HAVE to get in the car. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, my son cried when we returned home. That is a sign of a great vacation. We will definitely look up the Madden's when we return to Kauai! |

| My husband and I along with another couple stayed here for four nights. Wow! What a place. Everything was better than described and better than expected. The condo is beautifully furnished, the bathrooms are huge and you'll never want to leave the plush beds. The location was convenient to both the north and south shores along with shopping, dinning and grocery. The condo was plenty big for 4 and certainly could accomodate 6. The ammenities were awesome and the staff was so hospitalble. Don't let a new place scare you off - this was great! We highly recommend Waipouli Beach Resort and the Maddens. |

Our family had a wonderful vacation in Kauai thanks in part to Richard Madden. What a first class facility from the furnishings, the view, the location, the price - everything was perfect! Additionally, the staff at the Waipouli Beach Resort were more than accommodating at every turn - from the check-in, the bellboy, the pool staff, the concierge - all made us feel like very welcome guests. I couldn't have been happier with everyone there. Every time we passed through the lobby, there was a pleasant cheerful smile and Aloha greeting.
I would highly recommend Mr. Maddens unit as his communication and accommodating approach was stellar.
If I ever travel back to Kauai (it's a LONG way from upstate NY!), I will definitely be contacting him again.

We were the first people to stay in this wonderful new condo. We spent a month there from mid-December to mid-January. The resort, the unit, and the weather were all perfect and that is good because we are the owners of the unit! The location is great for us because one of us takes the car to play golf and the other is able to walk to all the shops and fun places.
We have been coming to Kauai for over twenty years and owned two condos at Pono Kai, which is about a mile north of the Waipouli Beach Resort. Both of our units there were on the top floor and had fabulous ocean views. We sold them and bought our penthouse unit at Waipouli. We traded our ocean view for a mountain view, partially because of price and partially because we were tired of being blown to bits on our lanai. This was the right choice for us because we are now able to enjoy evenings on the lani and the cards don't get blown off the table! It was also the right choice for you because we are able to offer a much lower rental rate.
