We were fortunate to “discover” the Bronze Lantern in 2007, while visiting family who live full-time in the Hideout.
Owner, Diane Guest, lives in the Hideout and is uniquely responsive to the needs of her renters. The house is “fresh” clean; the kitchen as well-equipped and up-to-date as our own; the quality of the furnishings and accessories, excellent; the beds a treat to sleep on.
For our first experience at the Bronze Lantern, we rented for four weeks, making it “our own” home away from home. Our son, daughter-in-law, and their two infants came to visit for five days and stayed seven. We all enjoyed the warmth and comfort of this house while sharing the wildlife experience in the front yard.
We had always loved this community, with all that it and the surrounding area have to offer. We used the Hideout golf course and beaches, which are well-maintained, and the club house restaurant, where the menu offers good quality, moderately priced selections. Security, Pro Shop and Club House staff are courteous, and make everyone feel right at home. Options for day trips in the areas surrounding the Hideout are abundant.
What a pleasurable experience this has been. We’re looking forward to our return to the Bronze Lantern in the summer of 2009, when we will extend our stay to five weeks.

| We stayed in the "Bronze Lantern" this past Labor Day weekend and had the best time. The house was clean and everything we could possible need was there. The game room provided lots of great fun at night and the house was only minutes away from the beautiful lake and other daytime activites. |

| Myself and my family stood at the Bronze Lantern first weekend in February and we absolutely loved it! The house is beautiful and CLEAN (which is very important to me). We had a wonderful time. There were several competitions going on in the game room (which has air hockey, pool table, and ping pong), all in good fun of course! We would definetely love to return should we decide to vacation in the Poconos again. Thank you very much Diane and Craig! We won't ever forget this vacation. =) |

| What a great vacation!! My family and I were at 'The Bronze Lantern' this past weekend in October and we had the most AMAZING time!! Diane and Craig are such a pleasure to do business with. What they say is what you get - and more. You can't go wrong if you rent this house. We are happy to have found it and look forward to visiting again in the near future. Two quick tips: DO watch the sun setting over Lake Ariel (it's breathtaking) and DO try a frozen margarita at the Tenth Hole Pub (it's DELICIOUS and strong - yikes!). THANKS, Diane and Craig, for letting us call your beautiful home ours for a weekend. =) |

Our 3rd year renting from Diane and Craig now---as usual always a great experience. This time we were in the newest addition the "Bronze Lantern".
Beautiful, inviting, family friendly--everything you need included!!
We had the pleasure of meeting Diane and Craig---what a nice couple! They were as genuine and friendly as you could imagine---and down to earth too!!
You could actually sense the sincere concern they have for their guests' comfort and enjoyment. Definitely not your stereotypical landlord types. Another great vacation---Thanks!!

| MY family and I just returned from a week stay at the "Bronze Latern". We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, clean and very well stocked with everthing from towels, soaps, linen and much more. We loved the game room and now have a champion air hockey player in the family. We all totally enjoyed ourselves. Sitting in the screened in porch watching the deer was a favorite of the week. We plan on returning to the beautiful Bronze Latern and would highly recommend it to one and all. |

| After spending last summer at the owner's other home, The White Lantern, our excitement at being the first guests of the Bronze Lantern this year were rewarded the moment we stepped through the door. We felt completely at home! The owners left nothing to chance and equipped the home with everything we needed: every room fully furnished, all modern kitchen appliances...even a round pizza pan for the oven! The screened lanai was the perfect spot for family meals and just relaxing. High quality linens provided; towels as fluffy as a 4-star hotel! Super clean, super comfortable. Now when we decide to vacation in the Poconos, the hardest decision will be which "Lantern" to choose for our stay! Thanks Craig and Diane for helping to make our vacation perfect! |
