| The Snake River Retreat was warm and welcoming. There was plenty of room for all(can you believe 9)of us. The house was well "stocked" with the items we would need for the week. Some of us wanted to fish and hike, others wanted to shop in Jackson. The location worked for everyone. A good time was had by all! |

We enjoyed staying at the Snake River Retreat this summer. Being just south of Jackson, kept us away from the tourist traffic yet close enough to be convenient to everything we needed. Fly fishing was awesome - my husband is still praising the fish gods for the 101 cutthroats he caught that week. If you enjoy fishing, the Snake River is out your back door and also the Hoback and Grays Rivers are a reasonable driving distance as well. The house is as described on the website with ample closet space, 2 full bathrooms were a nice size with large bath towels, and beds were very comfortable and allowed for a good night's sleep. A wonderful vacation overall!

I was a guest of this house last fall and was blown away by Jackson Hole in the fall. Myself and 3 other couple stayed here. The colors of the trees were incredible along the entire river area. Every morning I would walk down to the Snake River and get my line wet. I even reeled in few cuttys and rainbow trout. I felt like i could walk along the property for an hour before i reached the next house. It was my own private fishing paradise. Also I hired a guide and floated other sections of the Snake as well as a couple trips to the Grey´s and Hoback River. All were within a half hour of the property. The house was immaculate and I would recommend this place especially for those who like to be near Jackson but without all the madness the center of a tourist driven town. I hope to go back in the future to hunt in the fall as its located in the heart of the elk migration.
I was surprised at how reasonable the price was after seeing the hotel rates in town, not to mention the kitchen was perfect for meals for the 7 of us. |

Homeowner Response:
I just caught my first trout off the property. Fishing specifically in this spot is great in August, September and October. Have waders and be cautious, but there are fish galore!!!

| I found the Snake River Retreat to be as described in the listing. It's a very spacious open living area with the Snake river running right next to the patio and deck. The two main rooms with fire places make it easy for young people and adults to have their own space. It's location is idea, away from the hustle of town life but only a short drive to Jackson and the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. I plan to return next year to take in the trout fishing. |

Very quickly, the Snake River Retreat became a relaxing and peaceful home away from home for our reunion of old friends. We were entirely comfortable in spacious bedrooms, a huge living room and the large, well supplied kitchen where we cooked together. We enjoyed meals on the patio overlooking the river and were warmed by indoor and outdoor fireplaces on cool nights. Snake River Retreat was conveniently located for our day trips to all this beautiful area has to offer. Thank you for helping to make our wonderful time together so perfect in everyway!
