Larry, You have a lovely villa that is well located. It is evident that you have taken a lot of care in furnishing the place to a high standard. It also served our needs for accomodating our extended family in one place. We had a great visit. Our family will be talking about this trip for a long time... Special thanks to Caroline, who not only met us at the airport, but gave a good orientation, assisted with solving problems, checked on us by telephone from time to time, and coordinated her cleaning visits with our schedule. All in all, it was a very smooth operation; these things do not happen by accident!
As you know, we rented two villas. Besides Casa Bougainvillea, we also rented another villa from your neighbors. Although Casa B was the cheaper of the two, we would have to say we got more value from Casa Bougainvillea. Just thought you should know...
Also, Jennifer Hall, the vacation concierge, was awesome!

Larry: My wife, Merideth, sent me and 7 of my friends to Casa B for my 40th birthday for some R&R and marlin fishing. We only caught one fish, but deffinetly got our share of R&R. Casa B is fantastic! The landscaping and out door areas are some of the best maintained I have seen at a private home. The 2 seperate suite downstairs are a great way to get away from the crowed but still be near by. The reef had a lot of beautiful fish and we even saw a small school of squid. I can't wait to share Casa B with my Family, I hope to get them to Casa B for our Summer vacation next year. Tell Caroline Thanks for helping us with the shopping and checking on us regularly. |

Larry, I would just like to tell you what a wonderful time we had at Casa Bougainvillea this summer. We usually vacation in Hawaii every year but with airlines going under and us losing our flights we decided to step out of our comfort zone and head east to St Thomas. We weren't disappointed with choosing St Thomas as our replacement destination. Casa-B was everything we had hoped for and more. The main house was great for the family and the downstairs suites were a great escape from the group when we needed it. We BBQ'd and went for an evening dip in the pool to finish the day. Caroline checked on us regulary to ensure our stay was perfect and to give us tips on things to do around the island. We snorkeled every day and visited at least a dozen snorkel spots on the island. We also took a ferry over to St John and did some snorkeling there. I've yet to find a better snorkel spot than right behind your house. The reef is a beautiful sanctuary for many reef fish and untouched coral. We even saw a stingray in a shallow tidepool about 50 yards down the beach. We had a great time. Thanks for making your place available to us. |

Three generations of our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Casa B in January of this year (2008). It was everything we had hoped for to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. There was lots of room for our three families to spread out and not be under each other’s feet. The accommodations at Casa B are wonderful with several comfortable indoor seating areas, spacious well-stocked kitchen with lots of counter space, large comfy bedrooms & loads of outdoor sitting & dining areas. One of my favorite spots was the little gazebo area that housed the gas barbecue. The lovely inground pool was well-used and enjoyed by all. Everyone especially enjoyed the outdoor shower off the master bedroom. The beautifully kept gardens are like a nature preserve. Our 2-year old & 3-year old grandchildren loved chasing the various types of lizards , found frogs & hermit crabs and had so much fun with it all. Although our sons did snorkel right off the beach at Casa B, it is slightly dangerous due to the sea urchins. We all enjoyed having cocktails in the “Sandbox”, but did not swim at the beach there, because if is rocky (coral) and was not suitable for the little ones. The views, from the Sandbox are breathtaking. Each day we walked each down the road to use the beach at The Ritz Carlton or at beautiful Vessup Beach across the street from The Ritz. The snorkeling was great at Vessup Beach where we found huge starfish & other interesting fish. All in all, it was just a great time. We truly hope we will have the opportunity to return to Casa B again in the future.

Hi Larry,
We had a wonderful time at Casa-B. We loved the outdoor shower in the master. That was quite a surprise and very unique. The house was lovely.
The grounds were fantastic and I loved being so close to the water. Our whole family enjoyed the pool and the beach. Snorkeling was great and lots of fun.
If we ever have an opportunity to go and visit St. Thomas again, we would certainly think about Casa B.

| Without a doubt a fantastic holiday in a great villa with all the luxuries of home. Location wise was excellent for the snorkeling just in front of the villa - saw many fish, turtles and even a nurse shark. Short walk to sandy beaches. Also a good kick off spot for St. John. Villa is a few kilometers from the shops and some distance from town (this was a positive). Also dealing with the owner and his staff in St. Thomas could not have been better. Overall, good value for money and we would go back without question. |

My family and I spent our Thanksgiving week at Casa Bougainvillea and we had a wonderful vacation! The house was perfect. The views, gardens, indoor and outdoor space, and the relaxing settings were perfect for us. We each had our own “retreat” area if needed but could also spend time together enjoying one another’s company in the large family room and in the outdoor areas. The house was everything that it was advertised to be…and more…and we had everything that we needed! You’ve obviously done a lot to make the house a great place to stay and it is!! We hope to return soon to St. Thomas and would love to stay at Casa B again! Thank you!!! -Cheryl Michaels & Family-

My wife and I rented your villa for a family vacation in celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary and my retirement from Mohawk Industries. It was ideal for the three families and a total of 10 people. Each family had just the right amount of privacy and the children (grandchildren) shared rooms. The house is absolutely beautiful and we found nothing lacking. It is our hope that we may be able to return there someday.

We were at Casa Bouganvillea for three weeks....long enough to get sick of a place, even the Ritz, I suppose! But we did not tire of Casa B, partly because we had friends and family coming and going, but mostly because the house and setting were so comfortable, with plenty of privacy if people wanted it (I took my tax stuff along, thinking I would do it there; hah! Wrong! But I could have. There were plenty of spots where i could have holed up and done it.) and so many places to go, once we mastered the left-side-of-road driving. I have lovely memories of my two blond wide-eyed grandsons (5 and 7) watching iguanas ("Look! They're wrestling!" "Ah, I think that might be called mating, actually") and actually feeding fish (wads of bagel work well) from their hands at Coki Point.
A friend who has a 48-foot boat sailed past, called us on his cell phone to alert us, so we stood on the beach below the house and waved. And we DID NOT ENVY him, that's the good part. We could not have been more content right where we were. |

Now that we’re home from our son’s wedding and have had time to catch our breath, we wanted to let you know how fantastic our week was in St. Thomas. And staying at your Casa Bougainvillea made a wonderful week just perfect. We loved the beautiful view, spacious layout of the villa, the comfortable rooms, the super great room with plenty of seating for conversations, moonlight swims—and early morning workouts in the pool. Our teens also loved sunning on your new sandbox. Your new kitchen counters looked great. And we loved the Island artwork displayed around the villa.
Thanks for stocking the place with games—we had a multi-generation game of trivial pursuit that was a blast. This was probably one of the best weeks in our lives and we’ll always remember Casa Bougainvillea with a smile. Also having the high speed Internet access was so helpful. Everything was first rate.

Stayed at Casa-B for 10 days, (Oct 2004), our first visit. It was absolutely wonderful, by far exceeding any pictures of the house/property that you can see on the website. House was very well kept, clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped. Great pool, foliage and the cookout cabana is a great touch as well. We are big snorkelers/divers, and the snorkeling outside the house was great - seeing spotted rays, turtles, angel fish and hundreds of other species.
Shopping/dining/bars within very close range, as are many activities. We did a lot of that, but was so comfortable at the house that we stayed there quite a lot as well. Definitely will do again in the future. |

We have been home three weeks, and we are still reliving our moments of the wedding, St. Thomas and our stay at Casa Bougainvillea. Our daughter Meghann was married at the Marriott on Saturday, January 31st.
The Marriott was a short twenty minute drive from the Casa, but given the proximity of the Ritz we might have considered holding the wedding there had we known its location beforehand. With that said, it is hard to find fault with anything the fine folks at the Marriott provided. The ceremony took place on the south side overlooking the water, and everything went as planned. The grounds and setting were beautiful.
A lively cocktail and dinner reception followed on the north side deck. The food was excellent, and generous portions were served. The harbor and Charlotte Amalie offered a scenic backdrop for the occasion, and at least three or four cruise ships must have pulled out that evening. We had a spectacular sunset, too.
Super Bowl Sunday gave everyone a chance to unwind. We had a houseful - my wife and daughter, mother, two brothers, sister-in-law, and three nieces. We did not feel cramped, though. The place is great for couples or large groups. The two downstairs apartments eliminate lots of confusion.
I must say that even with all the day trips (St. John, St. Croix, Mahogany Run) that the best time spent was just loafing around Casa-B. The nights were even better. We enjoyed the garden gazebo as we looked out at the island lights. There we had some rum drinks and smoked some fine cigars. For added entertainment we brought out the boom box from one of the apartments and played some of our favorite CD’s, which we brought along. I still have Bob Marley reggae tunes dancing in my head.
We would like to return some day, and perhaps without the added expense of a wedding, we might get back sooner than we think. Great value. Lots of fun.

| Casa B is by far the greatest place to stay on the island. The house is large and airy with a lovely view of the bay. The common room is great for all to get together yet privacy is readily available. Where else can you walk out the door and into a beautiful bay with teriffic snorkeling (rays and turtles, too!)We snorkeled over to the Ritz Carlton and made good use of their tropical bar and restaurant. The house is close to the ferry, boat trips, grocery shopping and to other wonderful snorkeling spots. Truly it was a wonderful vacation and we will be back someday!. |

| My husband and I, and six close friends, spent two weeks at Casa B in March and truly felt we were in heaven. The house was so comfortable and the view was outstanding. After touring the island and looking at other houses, we felt Casa B had the best location and easiest access to anything we wanted to do or needed. Although it's on a rocky beach, it was perfect for spending the day in chairs at the water's edge. We could also walk to a great little sandy beach or just spend the day in the pool. The layout of the house was great for our large group and afforded all of us privacy when wanted. Our pre-trip contact with the owner was a great help in planning our trip and we will difinitely return to Casa-B in the future!! |
