Upon arriving at our Sourdough Cabin, it appeared just as in the picture from the website - it is quaint and very, very comfortable! We have stayed in several cabin B&Bs on our travels throughout Alaska - the Riverbend B&B cabin is the best! They are very comfortable, built "tight" and had wonderful views/access to the Chena River and beyond. The radiant heating made for extrememly comfortable cabin living!
Bruce's smoked salmon was divine! The guided snow machine ride along the Chena River and the Yukon Quest trail was outstanding!
We noticed the attention to every detail - everything was provided for our comfort. Debi's
breakfasts were awesome! The blueberry parfaits were outstanding as was the Morning Glory Muffins (thanks for your recipe, Debi!).
Debi and Bruce are excellent hosts and were available to direct and answer all of our questions.
We love Alaska, we loved sharing our time with Bruce & Debi at the Riverbend B&B - and will be back for another visit!

Our stay at the Riverbend Bed and Breakfast in Fairbanks, Alaska completed our honeymoon. We could not ask for a better location in the Fairbanks area. We took the train from Denali National Park to Fairbanks. Upon our arrival to the Riverbend Bed and Breakfast, we were warmly welcomed by the owners. The location was near several trails and hot springs. We anxiously wait until we can return to Alaska and stay at the Riverbend Bed and Breakfast.
What a romantic and relaxing place, thanks for completing our Honeymoon!

| The Riverbend was the absolute high point of 2 weeks of wonderful amazement! As military retirees, we have traveled and stayed in many wonderful places. Our daughter was born in Alaska and for her graduation present we took her back. Riverbend's rustic charm and modern conveniences far exceeded our imagination. Our teenagers loved the space, the TV, and the river. Kevin and I loved the walks and the wildlife (and we got to see every Alaskan critter we remembered and share those with our children). Riverbend easily met or exceeded the standards of the Raddisons or Hyatts I stayed in while working with State Department. And yet, the charm....... The host and hostess were perfection in hospitality, providing amenities, friendliness, advice, and privacy. The vacation could not have been more perfect, and Riverbend was double perfection. |

| The Riverbend B&B is a very magical and wonderful place. The cabins built and decorated by the owners are so warm and inviting with comfortable beds and a view of the Chena River that is just spectacualar and only steps away. Bruce and Debi Hanson have definately gone the extra mile to provide each guest with such an outstanding visit that when it comes time to leave you really don't want to go!!!(In fact we have even remodeled our guest room using wonderful woodworking as well as Alaskan decorating ideas that we enjoyed while staying there, and have received so many wonderful comments we now call our guestroom the "Alaska room".) The Hanson's also provided us with such a list of attractions and this was during the off season, that we had one adventure after another, as well as dined on some of the finest food we have ever eaten. For us this was such an amazing and romantic destination, we are making plans to go back in 2009! Having traveled extensively I highly recommend Riverbend B&B to anyone going to Alaska. |

Our stay at the Riverbend Bed and Breakfast was one of the most pleasurable vacations that we have every had. The cabin was just as it was advertised and it was extremely clean.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and the grounds were just wonderful. |
