| Our party of 3 adults, 1 toddler and 1 infant stayed here for 4 nights in May, while the in-laws stayed at the Marriott, pretty must right across the street. A great all around location with easy access to Kona, the airport, all the resorts and beaches on the Waikoloa side of the island and numerous amenities, including a great shopping areas directly across the street and next door. The condo itself was superb and met all of our expectations. We've stayed in vacation homes and condos previously, but the furnishings and quality of this condo made it truly feel like someone's home. Amazing grill on the patio, and we enjoyed several sunset dinners out there. We shopped around quite a bit prior to booking, and this condo was an incredible value for being such a great property. Finally, Dan was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process and we have had the pleasure of meeting him at the condo as he was in town. Like many of the other guestbook comments, I am somewhat reluctant to share this "secret" with the public, but since we can't have this place all to ourselves, I suppose we have to share! Thanks Dan, hopefully we'll get there again!!! |

We had a great vacation! We stayed at Dan's condo for about 2 weeks in February 2009 and enjoyed every day of it. We had been to Maui twice before, but this was our first visit to the "BIG" island. The condo was exactly what we were looking for, with a BBQ on the lanai. Very clean and comfortable.
The guidebook Dan sent beforehand was a nice touch, as we used it extensively. We we definitely come back for another stay. |

Stayed at Dan's Condo for Easter break.
All I can say it was just about perfect for my family. The condo is first class.
Great location. A 2min walk from shopping and restaurants. A 5 min walk to the beach. 2 min drive to golf course. 10 min drive to mauna kea beach hotel.
It was great weather too, Waikoloa gets better weather than other places. Its a great place to stay to go to beaches nearby, play golf, enjoy Restaurants and just hang out and relax. i would go back to Dan,s condo in a heartbeat. plus dan is a great guy to deal with. We had no problems.

| We were looking for accommodation for our 4th visit to the Big Island. We tried several internet vacation rental sites and came across Dan's Condo on VRBO. We were contacted by Dan promptly and he made the process of hiring very personable and straight forward. We would certainly recommend Dan to anyone who is a little unsure of the rental process. We stayed at Dan's Condo from the 8th to 15th May 2009. The Condo is very well equiped and gives a welcoming and homely feel. Dan takes a personal interest in his guests and was on hand via email if we needed any information and this made us feel very welcome. The Waikoloa Beach Villas complex is beautiful and well cared for and we thoroughly enjoyed our chilled out stay and would certainly return. |

| We had a great vacation ! We stayed at this condo for about 2 weeks and enjoyed every day. The condo was exactly what we were looking for. The grill on the Lanai was perfect as well as the rest of the condo. Clean and comfortable. We hope to return for another stay in the near future. |

Staying in Dan's condo was nothing short of excellent. We came to the Big Island for a wedding with several friends. Two other couples were staying in other condo's in the area, one in the same complex as Dan's. We hosted a breakfast on the morning of the wedding for everyone. Each of them commented how well decorated and equipped Dan's condo was compared to the condo's they were staying in. It was truly a home away from home. Everything we needed (besides food) was provided at the condo - pots, pans, glasses, utensils, grill, even a large hot plate. It was absoulutely wonderful.
Dan's condo also had everything needed for the beach - boogie boards, coolers, towels, snorkel equipment, chairs and umbrellas. It was wonderful to have all of it already at the condo so that we didn't have to find a place to rent from and then return the equipment.
It's in the perfect location. On the golf course and close to King's and Queens shops, within a very short walk.
I've been recommending Dan's condo to all of our family and friends as the place to rent if they go to the Big Island. Dan was extremely helpful and accomadating to us. I have never met him in person, but can tell you he is incredibly trustworthy and one great guy to work with. I have no hestation in recommending his condo, it was absolutely excellent. Don't bother looking at any other condos, this is where you want to stay. When we bring the rest of our family back to the Big Island, we will be staying at this condo. It was such a great find! |

Writing a review for this vacation rental is a double edged sword – I feel morally obligated to write a sterling review because it was under promised and over-delivered – but I don’t want anyone else to know about it so that when I take another vacation, it will be available!
This was one of the best vacation experiences ever. From the first email contact to dropping off the keys on the way to the airport everything was great. Admittedly, I was worried that there would be some glitch, but everything went right. Dealing with Dan gave me the utmost confidence that all would go well. And it did.
Then there was the condo. Wow. If this were my wife and my unit, this is how we would have outfitted it. From the paint on the walls to the plates in the cupboard; from the flat screen tv to the boogie boards and snorkel equipment in the closet, it was perfect.
I would, without condition, recommend this rental. In fact, I have already been telling my friends and family about this unit and plan on using it again in the future.

We vacationed on the Big Island (Nov 10 -18) and really enjoyed staying at Dan's Condo. The condo is furnished beautifully and is in a great location. We really appreciated all of the beach towels and toys, they really came in handy. This is a great value for the $$$; we'll be back if we vacation on the big island again!

| This condo was just great! Excellent location to the King's Shops and the New Queen's Shops (within walking distance). Nicely decorated with everything you will need for your stay. Especially liked the BBQ Pit on the Lani. The kitchen was well equipped with high quality pots and pans along with every small appliance and dish needed. We'll be back! |

We had such a fantastic time at the "cushy" villa this past October. Everything we could have asked for to make our visit a real treat (including all the snorkeling gear for our daily swims with the honu...)! A cozy retreat set up nicely for entertaining old friends meeting out on the island from all over the world. While all of my colleagues were complaining about the astronomical costs of staying at the Hilton, we were kicking back at the condo and enjoying all the surrounding sights (lava fields, beaches, local people (luaus, crafts))...couldn't have turned out better. If we can make it back to this beautiful place, we will certainly be looking up Dan Matson for another wonderful stay. Many mahalos-

Our family stayed in Dan's condo for two weeks in early summer and we had a great time. The unit is brand new and fully furnished. It has all the beach toys you need, including adult & child snorkeling equipment, beach chairs and towels, umbrellas, and multiple sizes of coolers. It was nice to be able to fill the cooler with water and drinks for a day's adventure.
The location on the 8th green was nice and the Kohala district has the best weather. Our son's asthma issues were a lot less being up north as opposed to our typcial location in Kona.
I really apreciated a TV in every room, especially the 2 LCD TVs. And the beds were pretty darn comfortable. The a/c was powerful, but ceiling fans in every room were often a nice alternative.
We'll be staying here again next year.

| We stayed (3 adults & 2 teenagers)in this beautiful condo for 5 nights in July and were made to feel like it was our own home. Wonderful furnishings, fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of room to spread out. The additional amenities including boogie boards, snorkel gear, ice chests, beach chairs, towels were a huge bonus and allowed us to sightsee freely with the car fully stocked. Deposit was returned promptly as promised and everything described and seen in the photos on the website are exact. Will look forward to a future stay here. For some fun things to do...Each evening my son and husband enjoyed walking the golf course collecting lost golf balls. We left a few in the condo for your enjoyment. Wonderful snorkeling in front of the Mauna Lani Beach Club and just off the Outrigger Keahau Hotel in Kona. For a great adventure, go night snorkeling with the giant manta rays in the lighted cove at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay. Bring your own underwater flashlights. Make sure to spend a day at Volcano Nat'l park. Well worth the drive. Enjoy! |

| I stayed at the condo for 8 nights in May. The weather was warm and dry. The accommodations were first class: the kitchen was fully equipped, great furniture, televisions, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, and beach toys. The condo is conveniently located within walking distance of the Kings Shops for shopping and great restaurants. The King's shops are also a pick up location for guided tours of the island, I recommend the Volcano and Mauna Kea Tours. The view of the 8th green of the Beach Course is beautiful and the Waikoloa courses are excellent and a great challenge. A-Bay is within walking distance and has a great beach for all activities. I would definitely stay at the condo again, and I highly recommend the accommodations. |

| We live on the neighboring island of Maui and wanted an island getaway - a vacation away from work and the daily grind at home. I contacted Dan and made the arrangements for a five night stay and was I happy that I did. We thoroughly enjoyed the confort and convenience of his brand new condominium. It is spacious and so personally well equiped with everything needed for any enjoyable visit. Hapuna Beach is a short drive away and Anaehoomalu Bay is within walking distance from the apartment. I enjoy cooking so I was especially thrilled with the wonderful kitchen facilities. Although there are a few good restaurant in the area, we ate most our of meal at the condo every day. The BBQ and the lanai area is especially nice for evening meals. I highly recommend this wonderful accomodation for anyone intersted. |

| We just returned from Spring break in this condo. It was fabulous. It was very high end everthing, from the kitchen to the linens! We were so very comfortable and did not lack anything! The location was very good, close to the beach (we spent alot of time at Hapoona Beach on the boogie boards). It was just a lovely place and I would highly recommend this condo. | We were Dan's first guests in their new Villa!!We were more than pleased with the way it was set-up. My wife who loves to cook, could not believe it when she found every possible kitchen utensil needed. Just like at home. Me, I barbequed. After 11 days in Waikoloa, eating out can get costly. Having a barbeque on the Lanai is perfect. The view from the lanai was great and the unit was peacefully quiet. The Kings shops is just a short walk across the road as well as the Queens shops when they are completed. Also, Dan really gave it a lot of thought when furnishing the unit. Even has beach toys. Great place!!Great Time!!Dan even called to be sure we were pleased with our stay. We will return again in September this year and this is where we will stay. |
