I very highly recommend Breezy Acres as a family getaway vacation spot. We spent a week there with our two grown children, their spouses, and 4 grandchildren. The house was comfortable and quiet, the neighbors not noticeable at all. The lake was extremely clean. Our grandchildren all fished, caught crayfish, swam, and played in the sand for hours on end;there are also a set of swings and a slide which they used a lot. They gazebo allowed for outside eating in comfort if there was rain, and we had several bonfires down by the lake. We also had some delightful canoeing ;my favorite place was there nearby wetland area, where we saw great blue herons, turtles, frogs,kingbirds, and bald eagles. One aspect we greatly enjoyed was the loons which seemed to be everywhere;once we had eight loons putting on a display of chasing, calling , and frolicking right in front of the pier.If you want a getaway where you can fish,swim,canoe,and just hang out with family and friends, I highly recommend Breezy Acres.

Great house; Kathy has planned for every need. We flew in from Rhode Island and gathered with family. Great fishing; huge woodpeckers! and lots of wildlife. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy family!

WOW! I was always afraid to rent a vacation home based only on pictures and a web site. Am I glad we "took the chance". Kathy and her family have taken great lengths to make sure this house is everything you could dream of........Every works properly, the house is clean, huge!, updated, and God took care of the rest, the most peaceful, beautiful view on a great chain of lakes. We had a group of 8, and had the best "Up North" vacation ever. Saw eagles, otters, turtles, geese, caught Bluegill, Crappie, Walleye, Northern, and small and largemouth bass! This place will be above your expectaions!

| "We had a wonderful stay at the Higgins cottage. A lovely gift basket was waiting for us on the kitchen table! The porch was a wonderful place to sit/sleep -- great breezes through the windows. A wonderful view of the lake and we even saw a family of otters playing in the water one morning. Plenty of room for our group! |
