We stayed at the Stagecoach in October of 2009 for 10 days...this is our third time staying.
While you would think you might tire of a place the answer is NOT HERE!
The home is consistently maintained, always pristinely clean, and beautiful.
This time we were four in our party. Myself and spouse, mom and grandma.
With all the bedrooms and baths everyone had their own space for relaxing. The living room is extremely spacious and is great for coming together for family time. All the amenities you need are here. We so enjoyed the hot tub and sauna shower. Convinced mom to hit the soaking jetted tub...her new favorite, she wants one for home. The hosts, Toni and George are starting to become family, they really embody hospitality. They assisted in receiving and having oxygen picked up for Grandma (thanks so much !!). The surroundings are beautiful. My grandma loved watching the horses and she loved the house so much. This was the fist vacation for her in many years and she talks alot about it and what a great time she had.
In summary, if you are looking for a place where you can get away, relax, and have amenities galore, Stagecoach HAS IT ALL! |

We just finished our stay here. My wife and I agree that it was hard to leave. The home is very comfortable and the surrounding property is incredibly relaxing. The kids loved the place so much we had to drag them to see the sights.
We also had another family stay with us. We had 4 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs and everyone had their space. |

My family stayed at the Stagecoach Stop Ranch as part of a very important time in our lives. My mother died just over a year ago, and she had wanted to take the whole family on a trip to visit the area where my dad had served in the CCC camps (nearby, now the site of the Black Hills Theater) in 1940. Mom wasn't able to make the trip with us, but Dad was ready this summer. So my sisters and I, two of our husbands, two teenagers, and a border collie made the trek with Dad to a place we had visited many years ago as children and that meant very much to him. A lot of sentiment was riding on this trip, and the property, plus the wonderful owners Toni and George, made it perfect. They have thought of pretty much everything. As other reviewers attest, there are lots of spaces for being apart (decks for reading as the sun rises, three bedrooms, lovely baths) as well as places to be together (large living room with huge TV for watching a movie, deck grilling area, outdoor spa, kitchen for cooking together, good eating space). The vistas are spectacularly beautiful and tranquil, and Toni and George are impeccable owner hosts. We could not have asked for a better experience. We recommend it with great enthusiasm. |

"Perfect Restful Getaway"
"Wonderful family getaway. Plenty of room for all (10 in our group) to do things together or find a corner to read or do your own thing. We are a loud group when we are together, but it was not hard to find a quiet spot. Kids loved the big screen TV, air hockey table, hot tub, and the property where they were able to play and run around. The house was very clean and well-maintained, the pictures and description were accurate, this is one place I would have no problem recommending to friends or going back to. The kitchen area was great for our cook (the sister who loves to cook) there was plenty of room for all of us to sit and eat, and during the evening the table was a great place to play games. One mother, three daughters, four kids and one husband all agreed that this was a great place to stay. It was not far to any of the tourists sites in the Mount Rushmore area. Hot Springs has a wonderful little bookstore for any reader. And for those who like physical exercise, but not everyone in your group is in the same physical shape the Mickelson Trail is great for hiking or biking, one of the trail heads was about 10 miles from the house. We drove north of Custer about 3 miles and hiked south to Custer a little more protection for some in our group. So if you are looking for a great location to stay that is clean, quiet, safe, peaceful and just a great place for a family to get together and spend quality time I would recommend this house and location. | We were very skeptical renting a place to stay over the internet. Our stay in the Black Hills was absolutely fabulous, and this home was wonderful! The pictures are not at all deceiving; the house was immaculate and included everything we needed. I have nothing negative to say about this property at all. My two brothers, my sister and myself rented the house in September, 2007, and it was the perfect place to stay- the setting is private and gorgeous, and there was plenty of room. We are hoping to return to the Black Hills again soon, and would stay here again without question. |

| I visited in December 2007, with my husband and mother. The home is in a great location and easy to find. We are choosy about a place to stay. The home is pristinely clean and extremely well cared for by the owners who are very accomodating. There is alot of room, a quiet and wonderfully relaxing setting. Terrific amenities to help destress. Hot Springs is just a few miles away and has great coffee shops and spas. We appreciated the owners who took great care in providing information about the town, down to the hours of the grocery stores. We have stayed in many private home and condo rentals and this is by far the best experience. We had stellar service by the owners and upon check out already booked our next stay. I would love to keep this place a secret just for us...but felt compelled to share my experience so others can rejuvenate and enjoy this property !! |

| The house was great - fully furnished, roomy, and very comfortable for our 3-generation family vacation in the Black Hills. Hospitality extended to us by owners was fantastic! We were a short drive away from everything the Black Hills has to offer. |

| This is a beautiful property. The first morning we saw 8 or 9 elk walk right through the back property - how exciting for all of us to see up so close. There are nice touches to this house such as the softest, thickest towels, a fully stocked kitchen, and quality furniture. We especially enjoyed the hot tub - the stars overhead were the brightest ever - living in the city one forgets just how beautiful the stars are. Toni was most helpful and very accommodating in our needs. We enjoyed the quiet and the breathtaking views and all felt very rested when it was time to leave. We certainly would book a stay again. |
