We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our vacation in your wonderful home! And we left positive comments on the VRBO site for future tenants. Once we cleaned the kitchen, our stay was great. The bedrooms and bathrooms seemed very clean, we only had a problem with the kitchen and left it as you would want it if you were inspecting it yourself.
We were reading other vacation sites and had one suggestion for future renters. It would be very helpful if you left a list for the house on the fridge that included how to operate the tvs, the internet, what to do if the pool needed attention, and any other helpful information for the house and area.
Again, thanks and we would recommend your home to anybody that is interested in renting in the area in the future.

I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to send this message to you last week afterour return from the OBX. We had a wonderful vacation/reunion. On behalf of
my whole family, I want to thank you for offering your lovely home to us.
I hope that you received a positive report following our stay. We did
finally resolve the cause of the seemly smell in the sink. We discovered that two shrimp had been lodged into the dishwasher from the prior residents. Once we cleaned everything out, the fishy smell went away. We also cleaned up some broken glass by the spa, again left by the prior occupants, although you might want to have someone else check very carefully inside and around the spa. We never did use the spa during our stay.
Overall, I think we left the house in good shape for your cleaning crew and
your next rental occupants.
Again, thank you for letting us enjoy a special place in the OBX.

Hi Katherine,
We just got back from your place the other day & I just wanted to tell you we really had a great time. It's so beautiful there. I hope you get to go & enjoy it yourself from time to time.
I wasn't able to open up the lock box & had to call Gene. He was wonderful & came immediately to help us out. He gave us his set of keys for the house while we were there & we made arrangements with his wife as to where we would leave them when we left.
So all in all, I just wanted to say thank-you for being flexible for us as far as letting us come from a Tuesday to Tuesday & for being able to work with us if we had to change things because of my father's health situation. Your place was just what we needed.
