Hi Kathy,
Your condo was wonderful! We would definitely recommend it to others or stay there again. Well and comfortably furnished and kitchen had all that you would need. Blender and coffee maker, are first items on our list of needs.
As for the door key pad, LOVED IT!! The last condo we stayed in had it too and makes things much more convenient.

| Oh, we've found paradise! What a wonderful place to feel right at home. What a beautiful view. We had such a wonderful time. Everything we needed (and more) was right in the condo. Being in a corner unit was awesome with so many windows and an extra large lanai. And having the wireless internet was great. We even Skyped our grandkids back in Oregon! We had the best time in your condo, it really felt like home, clean, comfortable and lots of room . We would love to comeback ourselves and we would surely pass the ward about this great place to our friends. I greatly appriciate the efficiency you handled the AC problem, no wonder the place is in such good shape.
We enjoyed the different extras you had for us in the condo such as the surfboards, beachchairs and the Hanna Road CD but most of all we loved being right there by the sea all the time and especially sitting looking at the beautifull sunsets.
Our stay in your condo was our best time in Hawai and I would like to thank you for it.

| Stayed at Royal Kahana #311 June 11th-20th, 2009. This unit is wonderful. The location can't be beat. Direct ocean front and poolside too. Georgeous sunsets! Fall asleep to the sound of waves washing up on the shore. In my opinion, West Maui is the best and Kahana is a great neighborhood. I highly recommend unit #311 for your stay. The condo was great for our family of five. The
views were as spectacular as advertised. Falling
asleep to the sound of the waves was wonderful.
Spacious and well equipped.
Our kids enjoyed the pool, shuffle board and
spotting whales from the lanai in particular.
Kahana is a nice laid-back alternative to the hustle
and bustle of Lahaina and Kaanapali. Easy to drive
to those places, but nice to return to the pace of
Kahana.
We would definitely recommend this condo to
families with kids. |

This condo was fantastic! This is our third visit to Maui but our first time staying in Kahana. The location was very convenient to lots of restaurants and great beaches & snorkel spots. The views from the lanai are everything the website says and more. We loved sitting out there for breakfast, cocktail hour, and dinner! We have 2 adults and two kids, age 9 and 12, and this condo felt very spacious for us.
Tips: Snorkel in Turtle Bay just north of Napili Point resort - TONS of large sea turtles! Snorkeling was also great at Black Rock. If you like sushi Sansei in Kapalua is To Die For! |

We had a lovely time staying in your condo. I met my parents in Hawaii for vacation and spent 8 fabulous days in Maui. We stayed from April 22 to May 1 and were furtunate enough to still be able to see the whales migrating. We would sit on the lanai in the evening and just prior to sunset we would see the whales spouting and playing in the water.
We did some snorkeling off the beach by the unit over towards the rocks and saw to gigantic sea turtles - amazing! Then we went to Black Rock at the Sheraton a few days and saw tons of beautiful fish and swam with another sea turtle.
We ate out for late lunches most days and made that our big meal of the day. We loved the Aloha Mixed Plate - and the deli that you mentioned to us - the mahi mahi in lemon caper sauce was superb!. We had a great dinner at Leilani's in Whalers Village. We missed lunch that day so made the early bird specials :)
You have certainly found little bit of paradise at your location. Thank you for providing us information on places to eat. We read the book at the condo that others had provided.
One tip: the snoreling gear at Maui Dive shop was great - worth going up 1 from the basic - the snorkels were better than I ever used on a cruise ship excursion!

| We stayed in your condo in March of 2008 over spring break. The view when we first walked into the condo was breathtaking! It was everything I had hoped for. We loved the condo so much it was hard to make ourselves leave to experience the other parts of Hawaii! Everything you need to make your stay enjoyable is included, even boogie boards! The washing machine was a big plus, too. It made packing so much easier knowing it was there. We especially liked the location, near Lahaina and Kapalua Beach, but not part of the busy Kaanapali scene. I can still hear the surf when I close my eyes, it was amazing to sleep hearing that great sound. We saw whales every day. Your place was perfect, and you were so helpful! | This condo is a fabulous place to stay in Maui. It is spacious, well equipped and the views are excellent. It was not whale season while we were there, but so what? There was plenty to see from the expansive lanai. We saw more rainbows than we could count. The Halloween festival in Lahaina was great. We almost missed our luau because I lost track of time on the beach and in the sauna. Thank you for sharing with us! |

3 friends and I spent April 22 - 30 in the Royal Kahana Unit #311. What an amazing place this is! The unit was very clean, nicely furnished, and very open and bright. The wrap-around Lanai was perfect for morning coffee, reading a book and watching amazing sunsets. We even saw 2 whales playing off the shore while sitting on the lanai! Kathy and Ron have thought of everything. There are boogie boards, snorkeling masks and fins, beach chairs, large umbrella, a cooler, and beach towels. Everything you could possibly need for a day on the beach (which, by the way, is never crowded)!
The condo has all the conveniences of home; fully equiped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer, blow dryers in both bedrooms and very comfortable beds. We will be renting this unit next April for our family vacation! Thanks very much Kathy and Ron for sharing your paradise with us! Your place is a hidden gem! |

We've stayed at lots of nice condos in Hawaii and in the Caribbean, but Royal Kahana 311 in Maui is absolutely the best and our new favorite. Great views, roomy (open floor plan and 2 1/2 baths!), huge balcony facing the pool on one side and the ocean on both sides. The unit was very clean ... even the floors. And, the price makes it a real value.
The option of having a cross breeze or air conditioning gave us flexibility and kept us comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were lots of towels and beach toys.
Plenty of restaurants and shops are in easy walking distance and parking was plentiful. I can't imagine coming to Hawaii and not staying here. I can't wait to return.
I almost forgot to add -- we love tennis, and, among other amenities, there are two lighted courts on Royal Kahana's property -- and they are free for RK guests to use. Nice! |

| Our accomadations exceeded our expectations.We actually had to close our windows some nights because the wave action was so close and loud. The balcony was perfect for whale watching.We witnessed a baby humpback being born about 100 yards out from us. If we go back to Maui we will defenitly want to stay here agian. |

We are repeat Maui visitors, but this was our 1st
stay at #311. We will definitely be back. We were 2
couples, so 2nd bedroom twins were made up into
very comfortable king, giving this unit 2 master
suites. There is no better place to watch the
whales, we saw mom's with babies, battling males,
& breeching for fun every day of our visit. And, the
wrap around lanai and windows allowed us to watch
from the dining, comfortable front room, or various
areas outside. We always felt connected to the
ocean and its sounds. The grounds were beautiful,
the pool warm and very clean, and with 5 BBQs we
never had to wait to cook up our fresh fish from the
Got Fish Fish Market. Kathy & Ron ensured our stay
was comfortable and went the extra mile by
providing info on what to do and were to eat. |

| We stayed in Ron and Kathy's condo for 10 days over the Christmas and New Year break. It was perfect. The lanai was perfect as it allowed us to watch our daughter down in the pool or watch out over gorgeous sunsets, surf, whales, boats..... The condo was very spacious and well equipped. Ron and Kathy even have a great supply of beach accessories and boogie boards for guest use. The room has very easy access to the elevator and stairs. The staff around the Royal Kahana are very pleasant. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone, but especially families as it is so spacious. Ron and Kathy were very efficient and professional to deal with. You won't be sorry to stay here, only sorry to leave. |

Aloha Guests of RK-311
Our Family of 4 were guests at #311 oceanfront Royal Kahana in December 2006. Our 2nd and absolutely excellent trip to Maui.
This was our first and convenient experience booking a condo via VRBO. Our communications with the homeowners, Ron & Kathy was absolutely great and they shared their favorite activities, including snorkel gear (in the unit).
The Condo is roomy and beautifully furnished. The bed comfort is what we are accustomed to at home. The amenities, location and view from the Lani with sunsets made it difficult to leave even for daily activities.
Be sure to plan to snorkel at Black Rock adjacent to the Sheraton Hotel, as it is better than the Molikini trip! If going out for Breakfast, the Gazebo oceanfront restaurant included rainbows over Molokai.

| Just got back from 311 at the Royal Kahana. It was perfect for me and my 15 year old daughter and her friend. We loved the space and the view! I could watch the girls on the beach or in the pool from the balcony where I was enjoying my Mai Tai and reading my book! The neighborhood was easy to navigate on foot and gave us the feel of a "non resort" area with all of the amenities of a resort but none of the hassles. No long hotel hallways....no major hikes to get to the lobby or to the beach or to the pool..it was all right there seconds away. Dollies Pizza right across the street made great pizzas! A great massage can be found in the health club right next door to the Royal Kahana. The boogie boards in the closet were greatly appreciated! We hope to do another girls week at 311 Royal Kahana! Thanks again. |

This was an exceptionally comfortable, clean, and bright condo. The view was spectacular. The owners have provided all kitchen necessities for cooking regular and quick meals. The TV, DVD player, and CD sound system were great. The unit is near the town of Kahana which is a delightful little town away from the crowds of Kaanapali and Lahaina. The General store and gas station, a few yards from the building entrance, were convenient. The mall in the same group of stores has two great restaurants,a couple gift shops, an internet cafe, and a dive shop.
I would definitely recommend this condo to everyone. The owners gave us lots of advice before we ever left home, making for an even more peaceful and relaxing vacation.
The beach in front of the condo is nice, but not spectacular. There are other great beaches, a short drive away, for great snorkeling. We did a little swimming and wave bobbing here. But I prefer to get away from the room, see other sites in addition to a resort, and do my serious snorkeling elsewhere.
I can't say enough great things about communication before, during, and after our stay at Ron and Kathy's place. A lovely place and a lovely, stress free vacation. Even parking was stress free.

– absolutely first rate. The ocean views are
unobstructed and you get the feeling of “floating”
off the ocean – the sunsets are stunning!!!!!
Everything, except food, is provided and your
accommodations make for a very relaxing and
exceptional vacation. The staff at the front office is
very helpful, the building is very well maintained,
parking is close, and your recommendation for take
out at the local Bento place was first rate – this is a
“must” to do for anyone staying at your place.

I've been to the island for the past 4 years and this is by far the most beautiful condo I've been in. From the lanai I saw two large whales breach at the same time. There were a lot of whales to see, as well as the turtles and the sea lion who cruised by every morning. And the sunsets were the prettiest I've seen; except for Colorado's sunrises and sunsets. Ron & Kathy have done a great job to equip the condo with all anyone would need. My husband celebrated his 60th birthday and we had 14 people over for dinner and there was plenty of room. The ice-maker is a bonus.We hope to return to Maui again next year and hope to stay again in 311. The staff of the Royal Kahana are very nice and helpful. We stayed in Unit #311 for 10 days in early January, 2006. There were 3 ladies and we were very pleased with the accommodations. We have all been to Maui many times and stayed other places nearby. We found this to be the most spacious of all our experiences and was very well equiped. So many have only the minimum in the kitchen, towels or comfort extras. This was very well eqipped. The view was spectacular although the whales were not too cooperative. It hardly mattered considered considering the view from the lanai. I hope to return next year with the rest of my family for a spectacular experience.

We stayed in unit 311 from may 13th to 23rd, and it was the most wonderful condo we have stayed in. The ocean front view is the best you will ever find, and we spent alot of time out on the wrap around balcony. it is wonderfully furnished, and cleaner than most vacation rentals we have rented. Once you stay here, you will decide this is where you want to vacation again real soon.
We cant wait to return, and we are telling everyone this is the place to be.

We had such a wonderful time at your condo! We stayed from 5-23-05 to 5-27-05. The only way it could have been better is if we stayed longer. This was the third time in Maui, but the first time at these wonderful accommodations. The beach was great, as was the pool area. The rooms were well arranged and very clean. Lots of amenities--the washer and dryer really came in handy. There was plenty of room for all of us and the balcony had the most gorgeous view. And the sound of the waves crashing at night!!! It was just wonderful. We can't wait to go back.

During our 2004 Christmas vacation our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed this very well-appointed, clean, spacious condo. The friendly owners had obviously recently installed new appliances, fixtures, cookware and furniture. We were so comfortable - just like home.
Expansive, wrap-around ocean front view can't be beat.
Features such as TV/DVD and CD player, 2 1/2 bathrooms, comfortable beds, in-unit washer/dryer, available parking, made this a wonderful experience.
Owners were very pleasant, hospitable and easy to deal with.
Didn't experience any noise problems although the unit is conveniently located near elevator.
We heartily recommend this unit for your Maui vacation! |

-2/5/05 and highly recommend it. It was as
advertised and more. Lovely decor, very
clean, well-equipped kitchen, very
comfortable beds, lots of thick towels,
spacious and views to die for. My husband
said that each time we returned to the condo
and opened the door you just take a quick
breath at the beauty and pleasure of the
expansive ocean and Molokai views. And
the whale watching from the lania was
outstanding. It was our first trip to Hawaii
and yet both ourselves and the other couple
we traveled with said it was hard to leave
the condo because "does it get better than

We can't thank you enough for letting us rent your wonderful condo. It was truly more than we ever imagined and hoped for. The views are absolutely spectacular from the unit and they give a new meaning to the phrase "ocean-front". Falling asleep and waking up to the waves crashing against the shore was amazing. The condo is very spacious, clean and has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. We would recommend this condo to everyone and certainly hope to return ourselves.
John and I got engaged on this trip and your place was an ideal complement to our perfect vacation!
Restaurant recommendations: Pacific O's (go at sunset; wonderful ambiance, service, food and wine list), Sansei (great place in Kapalua if you love sushi), Cafe Ole (great food, great patio)

THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! IT WAS THE BEST! NOT ONE THING WAS WRONG WITH THE CONDO OR THE STAFF. EVERYONE WAS SO FRIENDLY. EVERYTHING SO CLEAN. OH MY THE VIEW WAS AWESOME...THE BEACH SO NICE AND CLOSE, THIS OLD BODY COULD GET THERE WITH NO PROBLEM HA..

Dear Kathy and Ron,
While it's been a month now since our stay at your condo in Maui, the memory is still fresh in our minds. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The condo was everything we had hoped for and more. We loved having the space to spread out, especially since we have two boys (ages 7 and 2). Having the kitchen and laundry in the unit was such a convenience too. And the view! We can hardly say enough about it. It was a treat to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. You've really thought of everything in how you've equipped the place - in terms of furnishings, kitchen ware, ample supply of towels, even some beach and snorkeling gear thrown in!
This was our first visit to Hawaii, and turned out to be truly memorable. Every once in a while, a vacation truly lives up to expectations, and this one certainly did for us. We have to say the comfort of our stay in your condo was a big part of that experience - enough to make us change our travel plans and extend our stay there! Thanks so much for having us. We definitely would like to return to Maui, and can say without hesitation this will be our first choice of place to stay.

| After searching for a reasonably priced condo for our first trip to Maui, we settled on the Royal Kahana. While seaching the net we came across Kathy and Ron's condo #311. We had never rented direct from the owner like this and we a little nervous. Kathy reassured us that everything would be okay. Well, it turned out to be the greatest place we ever stayed. The resort was very nice, the staff were friendly, the pool was beautiful with lots of shade, and the condo was 5-STAR. The decore was soft island colors with rattan furniture. The kitchen was a small galley type with everything you would need. The bathrooms and bedrooms had lots of first-class linens. The wrap-around lanai was even accessible from the master bedroom. The views were the best we've ever had from a resort. In the morning you could see the sunrise reflect off the islands of Molokai and Lanai, and in the evening you could see the sunset behind Lanai. We loved our time in this condo and will definitly return someday. |

What a AWESOME place to rest and relax. We stayed in Ron and Kathy's unit from 9/22/04 until 9/30/04! We can't stop talking about the great view and all of amenities of home! This is a first class place. The condo is very well kept and the location is excellent! Within feet of very nice resturants and a brewery if your interested. The beach in front of the unit gets little use, it's like always being on private beach! The lanai is great, it wraps all the way around the condo! I would reccommend this unit to anyone planning a trip to Maui! We can't wait to go back! Kathy (owner of condo) went out of her way to make our stay a, "Great One!" Thanks again, and if your looking in Maui look no further then this location at the Royal Kahana Unit 311!

| We stayed in this unit for 6 nights in October of 2004. The Royal Kahana is a fabulous place to stay and Unit #311 is absolutely beautiful. It is very spacious and is very updated. We had 2 adults and 2 kids and felt at home. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook meals everyday. The owners were very easy to work with and easy to contact while setting up our vacation. We look forward to staying there again. | What can we say that was not already mentioned? This was our 4th trip to Hawaii over the years and your condo was by far the greatest. The pictures on your web site didn't do it justice; the cono is much more spacious in real life. I know several times we were diappointed when we expected a condo to look like the web photos we were shown; not this time. We made a mistake going to Honolulu after our stay at your condo-what a mistake, we spent much of our time wishing we had spent the entire time at your lovely cono. We had a wonderful wedding & fabulous honeymoon in Maui. We highly recommend the condo to others & would love to return on an anniversary trip.
The condo was spacious & everything was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped & we loved having a washer & dryer. We also enjoyed use of the beach chairs & ice chest (we left a body board for other visitors to use :)) We enjoyed use of the stereo/CD player. Check in was easy as we brought along your confirmation letter and were given the keys within 5 minutes of check-in. We took you up on your recommendation- eating at the deli often & really enjoyed the entire stay. We had plenty of linens & found everything to be comfortable & clean.

| My husband and I just enjoyed a wonderful week at your condo at the Royal Kahana. The ocean view and easy beach access were perfect, and we loved listening to the sound of the waves all night. Although the unit does have air conditioning, we didn't use it at all because the trade winds were so nice and the unit has so many big windows and sliding glass doors. And who wouldn't want to soak up as much warm, fresh Maui sea air as possible on vacation? The location was perfect--away from the crowds of people but still very close to restaurants, shopping, sights, groceries, etc. The beach was great--very quiet and pretty. And the pool area and cabana are nice for when you want a break from the sand! The grounds are very nicely kept with beautiful plants, flowers and trees. The condo unit is very clean, light, airy and spacious. Although we were enjoying a romantic anniversary trip this time, it would also be a perfect place to bring our kids. We loved sitting out on the lanai for breakfast early in the morning--what a way to start the day. We've been home a week and already can't wait to go back someday! Mahalo and aloha! |

We really couldn't have asked for more. Your condo was clean and comfortable and we were provided with every amenity we could have asked for. At sunset we often sat on the balcony, listening to music, smiling at the rainbows and sipping our frozen drinks (thanks for the cd player and blender you provided). The kitchen was well equipped and cooking was a pleasure. We loved waking to the waves crashing on the beach through the windows of your lovely bedroom and the bathroom and living room were clean and comfortable. The laundry facilities were an added convenience. We felt truly lucky to have stumbled across your condo!! What a gem!

| My husband and I stayed in this condo for a week and it exceeded our expectations! It has a magnificent view and is so clean and well decorated. It has so much space and it was equipped with everything we possible needed and more! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in staying in Maui. The location is perfect, not far from anything. Ron and Kathy Roberts were wonderful people to rent from and gave us so much information and suggestions for our trip. Wow, we just got home and I can't wait to go back. The view from the lanai is outstanding, we saw rainbows over Molokai several mornings while having breakfast. The condo was nice and clean and convenient to everything without being in a noisy crowded resort area. The grounds and pool are beautiful and well kept.We have 2 boys 7 and 12 and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The washer and dryer in the unit are nice to have, so don't bring many clothes. Close to several great restaurants. A great value for such a wonderful location.

My family (two adults, one 8-year old boy) was not disappointed when we entered your condo at the Royal Kahana. Wham! A view of the Pacific right in front of us from the living room balcony. And just as nice, the same view from our bedroom with the sounds of the surf to go along with it! The amenities in your condo and the building were outstanding (two brand new gas grills installed next to the cabana while we were there) and the location was perfect for our tastes. You can depend upon hearing from us next time we decide to visit Maui. Our Maui loving friends will hear about your condo also. Mahalo for the great experience.

We totally enjoyed your #906 at Royal Kahana & hope to rent again in the future. Watching the whales & the sunsets were great (probably everyone tells you that) & it is well furnished & comfortable. Enjoyed having washer/dryer available in unit--knowing this e didn't pack much & it was great. We enjoyed being able to walk to some restaurance & had beach at Halawai Rd. almost always to ourselves. We appreciated the abundance of towels & nice quality at that!
