This unit was awesome! The owners, Karen and Kim, have done a lovely job of remodeling and are very easy to work with. The unit was clean, the furniture comfortable and the kitchen up to date with every appliance you could need. It provided plenty of space for the two of us; it could have held another adult or two children easily. My husband has a bad back and we found the king size bed very comfortable.
Check in and check out were easy and there were no additional or surprise charges to our card. The location cannot be beat. The view of St. John and the ocean from the patio was lovely and the pool and ocean was literally steps away from the patio. We had friends who were staying at several high end hotels who were jealous of our proximity to the pool and the beach. In fact, one day they all came over to snorkel and use our unit for creature comforts.
The patio furniture is newer than the photos indicate and very comfortable. We had coffee at sunrise every morning and several candlelight dinners, enjoying the view and lovely carribean breezes! These condos are very close to Red Hook, where we enjoyed a number of nice meals (East End Cafe, Molly Malones, Carribean Saloon) and met friends for drinks (Duffy's Love Shack and Island Time Pub). They were all fun and all have their own personality. The ferry to St. John's is also close by in Red Hook.
It was a wonderful experience and in no short part due to have such a great place to call our home base. We absolutely recommend this unit for a day or a month! In fact, our only regret is that we only came for a week. We were just starting to get on "island time" and it was time to leave. Next time, we're definitely staying 10 days or even better, two weeks. Thank you Karen and Kim - we hope to come back soon!
