| My wife and I just spent 4 nights in the cottage, as a part of our 25th anniversary trip, and everything was perfect! What a wonderful, relaxing place to visit! We visited several local wineries, made a day-trip to Portland, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The cottage had everything we needed and more. We would love to come again, and would highly recommend this to anyone seeking "rest and relaxation". |

| We had the most wonderful 4 days and nights in the lovely cottage and beautiful, relaxing wine countryside. Every thing you need or think you would like is include. Lisa is so nice and makes you feel so welcome and at home. The animals are delightful and add so much to the atmosphere of a happy place. We just enjoyed sitting on the porch, sipping wine and watching the world go by. Really wish we could have stayed longer and if possible we will return. Thank you Lisa and we appreciate all your help. The blackberries were so delicious and such a treat! Also the weather was perfect!!! |

| My daughter, son-in-law, two toddler grandsons and I were fortunate to have chosen this cottage for our stay in wine country. It was welcoming and comfortable, high on a hill with a beautiful view. The flowers and trees were in bloom and the pygmy goats and chickens were very entertaining for the boys. Even though scores of wineries as well as the Air & Space Museum were in very close proximity, the cottage seemed a world apart. It had everything we needed and was immaculate as well. We look forward to staying there again. |

My sister, husband and I stayed for a week in April. We loved the comfortable beds, light and airy feel to the whole house, and the well equiped kitchen. The house is very family friendly, with a large front porch and level grounds. We enjoyed a family reunion BBQ on the porch. The weather cooperated nicely. You do get the farm feel with the friendly, but not too friendly chickens and goats. Birds abound and deer can be seen in the morning hours. We will come back again. The price is right. |

| Our family of four stayed two nights for a college visit weekend and found the cottage just perfect! Lisa has included many very thoughtful details that made us feel welcomed (fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, games, picnic basket, local area information including restaurant menus etc...). I loved the pretty bedding in the master and the view from the wide porch made us wish for longer days to enjoy the outdoors. We would definitely come again. And we'd bring a treat for the sweet blue-eyed kitty who visited us. |

My brother and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the farm house. The accommodations are all updated and refurbished, the view is grand and Lisa is a gracious hostess. Even the chickens are friendly! If you are looking for pleasant surroundings in the wine country, this is a good base to start from. |

Winter's Hill cottage is the perfect base for a weekend in the wine country. A short drive from Portland, but if feels like a different world. You are greeted by chickens, goats, and a porch with an unspoiled view over farmland and the mountains in the distance. The cottage is a good size for two couples (plus our one infant), cosy but not cramped. High standard of decor and fittings throughout. There are dozens and dozens of wineries within a few minutes drive, plus the Trappist Abbey with its trails. Highly recommended if you're looking for somewhere away from it all - but close to the wine! - in Yamhill County. |

| If you want a quiet place to get away from the "rat race," this cottage is for you. The cottage is wonderfully furnished with everything you need and is located in a beautiful area. The view from the porch is worth the stay even if you do nothing else. If you do venture off the porch, the cottage is located in the heart of Oregon wine country and great antique shops. The owner, Lisa, provides special amenities that are very nice touches (e.g. coffee and cream ready for you for those mornings on the porch, a gas grill, wine glasses, a recliner in the living room, etc.). Lisa is also available for local travel information and advice. We were at the cottage the last week of June, 2007 and the weather was great. We would definitely return to this cottage some day, maybe in the fall. |

My friend and I spent 2 nights at this beautiful and well appointed home. The home was spotless and included everything that might be needed for 1 night or a week. The owners were VERY helpful for all of our needs. The setting is absolutely gorgeous. I would ove to return with my husband in the fall to this special place in the wine country. |

I was able to visit with the owner today, although I have not visited "the small farm in big wine country" I feel as though I have from the description that she gave me. It sounds nice and I am sure it is. It is certainly worthy of a visit.
Thank you. |
