We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house in Sugarmill Woods. We've been to this area a few times before but this was by far our most enjoyable and relaxing holiday. The property is very well furnished and has everything that you could possibly need, plus a few extras. Tampa is less than an hours drive, and Orlando is just under 2 hours. There are several nearby superb golf courses, and the local countryside and rivers are ideal for spending a relaxing day in the wonderful Florida sunshine. |

We have stayed in the area a number of times over the years, but our month in Bud and Ann's holiday home has been by far the most enjoyable. The house is delightful - light, airy, and much more spacious than you might imagine from the photographs. It is very much a home with all the equipment and comforts that you'd expect - rather than a typical (minimalist) rental property.
Golfing in the area is superb. The courses are undulating, wooded , and much more interesting than the flat courses further south. Also green fees are very reasonable. |

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. We have stayed here twice and have just booked for the third time.
The inside of the home is very comfortable with everything you could possibly want.
You can swim everyday in the solar heated pool, sit on the lanai and watch the antics of the squirrels in the trees, it is pure bliss.
Homosassa is a lovely area with something for everyone, and if Disney is on your "must do" list we found it not too far to drive for a day out. |

This is a great house. We decided to stay here for an entire week instead of splitting our time up between the area around Sugarmill Woods and Tampa. It was a quick ride down the toll road to get in and out of Tampa, so Busch Gardens was not a major hassel for us to get to.
There are plenty of things for the nature lover close by, a lot of state parks and perserves. A mermaid show (where live actors swim a spring with all sorts of river creatures free to swim up to them) is right down the road and well worth checking out. Although the Tampa & St. Pete destinations were 45 minutes or so away, it was nice to return to the calmness of the small community that this house is located in to unwind and relax by the pool for the rest of the night. |

Many years ago I stayed in small cabin on a lake in New Hampshire, and remember reading through a guest book detailing things that families did while there, where they went, and how much fun they had. I'm hoping that maybe you will share your experiences in Sugarmill Woods with others here on this sight. Look forward to hearing from you!
