| We stayed at this lovely cottage for 6 nights the week prior to Labor Day weekend. It was wonderful!! The pictures do not do the cottage justice. The kitchen was very well equipped and we had no trouble fixing meals all week long, especially with the full size frig and freezer! We went w/my in-laws and privacy was never an issue with the separate bedrooms. Our 2 teenagers shared the pullout sofa in the den and had their own space as well. They loved the movies/stereo/cable. Jeff even has some good books on the shelves if you are a reader. Lake access was right out the backdoor and we could watch the beautiful sunsets from the screened in porch! The hardwood floors and nautical decor ad to the ambiance. Very close to many antique and thrift shops for us girls and just a change of clothes and a few steps to watersports as Big Barbee allows skiing and tubing. We had a BLAST and would love to come back! |
