| My family recently stayed at Dam Cove Lodge--we booked it based on what we read and saw on line. It turned out to be even better than we imagined. It is, indeed, a lodge (a large one) with a working fireplace, a huge kitchen and enough room to sleep two to three families, plus a ping pong area (we spent hours up there playing)! The grounds are well kept and beautiful and it's located close to downtown Bath which houses a lot of shipbuilding history as well as many other attractions. I would definitely highly recommend this place, keeping in mind it is large and well suited to large families or multiple families. The proprietors, Nancy and David were great hosts. |
