| We enjoyed a totally relaxing Labor Day weekend at the farmhouse. It's a quick drive from Washington but feels completely removed. The house is set on a beautiful, peaceful stretch of river. We spent lots of time sitting on the screened porch looking out at the water with coffee and a book. The house is very comfortable for children--lots of outdoor space to run around, as well as fishing and kayaking, also plenty of indoor space for meals and hanging out. We also used local tennis courts in St. Michael's. Easy shopping nearby. It's a fabulous spot! |

| We had a lovely week at the farm cottage. we were there in mid-May and although it was cooler than normal and quite windy a lot of the time, we still found a lot to do. The house is comfortable and the lawns outside provided great spaces for yard games. It is very private and quiet here, but still close to shopping, St.Michaels and Oxford. We did manage to get in 2 long paddles in the kayaks and had a lot of fun on the water. |

I have stayed at the Farm Cottage twice once in the early summer and then again this past winter and no matter what season it is a great weekend getaway from DC! Both times we enjoyed walks on the surrounding property, dinner in St. Michaels and fires in the backyard fire pit. I particularly liked enjoying my morning cup of coffee while looking out at the water. The farm cottage provided a true escape from hectic DC life! |

| This was the perfect vacation retreat - very private and relaxing. The living space is very open and comfortable. The screened-in porch was the perfect spot to eat our meals while enjoying the spectacular water view. Our kids loved kayaking and exploring the nearby woods and fields. I would highly recommend this very private and comfortable getaway spot. |
