| We loved this house! Plenty of room to stretch out, amazing kitchen for a vacation house, plenty of towels, close enough to town without all the downtown traffic & noise. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing Hawaii escape! The yard has to be seen to be believed & the sunsets are truly amazing. We spent most of our time at a local beach, swimming & snorkeling, and we were just 10 minutes from home. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give this house an 11! |

| Wow, we had a beautiful week in Hawaii, and this house was an important part of this success... big rooms with beautiful daylight and cool breeze, cool lanai with the jaccuzi and sunsets, well situated so it was easy to go to the Kohala beachs up north or go south to Place of Refuge or to the Volcano... Really, if it wasn't so far from home I would have kept this wonderful finding as a secret for a future trip and for friends and family, but since this was probably our only time in Hawaii, we will spread the news and encourage you to rent this home! |

This house is great. you can feel at home here. We had a little problem with the hot tub that was fixed quickly. the veiw is priceless, the sun sets and early morning sun on the deck are great. It was so nice to sit looking at the ocean and planes. We enjoyed the fruit trees. we could of not asked for more, close to all of the activities.

There are very few things in this world that turn out to be better than advertised. Your home is one of them! Frankly, the pictures on the website make the house seem smaller than it really is. They don't do it justice.
Suffice to say we had a fantastic time using your house as "home base" and making meals in your kitchen as well.
We appreciate very much the excellent condition, the cleanliness, the Jacuzzi, and the well-kept grounds. Also the huge supply of towels! You can imagine how many towels we went through every day with six people, four of whom are in their early-twenty-something-heavy-towel-use years.
We enjoyed the cooler weather up the hill from the coast and the proximity to the less traveled Mamalahoa Road. Makes getting around much easier. Perfect sleeping conditions with a light breeze, too.
On a scale of one to ten, we give your house a solid 12. We would love to stay again and recommend it without hesitation. |

Boy did I get points from my extended family for finding this place for us to vacation together! I've used VRBO several times but this was the most charming, luxurious place ever. The photographs don't really do it justice, especially the living room and kitchen photos can't convey the comfortable open plan that draws the family together. And the view is more mountaintop and less suburban-house-next-door than it looks in the photo.
They really went to a lot of trouble to have everything set up so you don't have to spend time thinking about what you need. Just -think- about wanting a phone book or bags for the trash or extra pillows and voila, there they are in the first place you look. Communication was also exceptional.
I really can't think of any negatives. Well, one day we couldn't get the hot tub to work but a quick call to their on-island contact solved the problem...he told me where to find the circuit breaker and if we'd wanted him to he even would have come over and taken care of it himself. Both he and the owners were clearly very eager for us to have a great time!
One last tip: "Matsuyama Food Mart" is a nearby small local-kine store that stocks just enough to get by. Much easier than going to Safeway or Costco on arrival day! |

This place was fantastic. Clean, spacious, and a luxury jacuzzi to boot. The owners are fantastic people and make sure you will have an enjoyable time. We especially enjoyed the remodeled kitchen, ice/water dispensing refrigerator, outdoor landscaping, and the multi-colored geckos that help to patrol the property. Oh, did I mention the family of turkeys that wander through the back yard? A perfect home away from home.

| We had a wonderful time at this property. It was clean, spacious, great view, quiet and cool in the evenings. The local property manager was very helpful in answering our sightseeing questions. The hot tub was a great way to end the day! I would recommend this property without hesitation. |

| This was our first vacation rental and far exceeded our expectations! Our stay in your Kona vacation home was amazing! It was so comfortable, clean, and well maintained with all the amenities you could want (wireless internet, washer/dryer, grill, hot tub, lanai ...) We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub, having dinner out on the lanai during the sunset, and then just relaxing inside! Also, we had such a variety of fruits to pick from the yard (pomegranate, strawberry papaya, grapefruit, mango, mac nuts) which was great! We honestly felt so at home that we were sad to leave such a great place! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We will defintely be referring our family and friends to this home and we hope to return one day soon. |

Aloha! What a wonderful rental!
This was our first vacation renting a home instead of staying in a hotel. What a difference a "home" makes. This rental is just that, a home away from home.
Walking in you're put at ease with the layout of the home as it makes you feel relaxed and content to be there for your vacation.
All the extra amenities you would not have at a hotel are furnished and we used each one of them; kitchen, hot tub (especially at sunset), lanai (a lot of time spent out there reading and relaxing), BBQ (we used this a lot too), big screen TV and DVD, and we also used the washer and dryer which was very convenient.
The cross ventilation was amazing in keeping the house cool and comfortable for our stay.
Sunsets from the lanai are breathtaking.
This home is close enough to the ocean, the Big Island sites and all the shopping you'll need, but it's not part of the tourist trap you'll find by staying in a hotel.
We shopped at Costco for food and beverages and WalMart for dry goods.
You'll have a view of the ocean and all the Hawaiian vegetation right out side your bed room window. Aloha, and we hope you enjoy your stay too. |
