If you're looking for a quiet, beautiful escape from the everyday rat race, look no further than this well-equipped cabin! A great shower, comfy beds, and spectacular mountain views are just a few of the pluses of a vacation at this spectacular southwestern North Carolina mountain cabin. We couldn't get enough of the songbirds, turkeys, and hiking trails around the area either! Bring your binos, hiking boots, or perhaps just a good book to enjoy this cabin and let the natural surroundings outside do the rest. We will definitely be back! |

| It is hard to find an affordable cabin to rent in our beautiful mountains so we were delighted with Valley View. We have rented 8 different cabins over the years and this is our favorite. Not only is it clean and isolated, it has a warm personality. We have had the good luck to be able to find and buy our own cabin in Sparta. We will miss your cabin but treasure the memory. We had a wonderful time at Valley View cabin the end of April. It's so relaxing because it's tucked back in the woods and is so peaceful. The porch was wonderful to sit out on at night, too. Plus, Connie Corn helped us out with a personal emergency because my dad needed some dental work while he was up here and she was able to point us in the right direction so it didn't crimp our vacation. And I absolutely love that DuPont Forest is right next door for great hiking, horseback riding and views of several waterfalls. We actually saw one of the locally famous white squirrels while we were there! This cabin is an ideal location for a truly relaxing fishing or hiking weekend! Nice people who have a nice place, what else could you ask for? Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Wonderful time. Had a lot of rain but it was easy to plan around it and the rain never lasted too long. Valley View is comfortable, secluded yet easy to get to. Dupont Forest (a mile down the road) must be one of NC's best kept secretes - hiking, biking and scenic.
One other plus; local people are very nice and will go out of their way to help - this includes the mechants, outfitters and visitor centers. The only "problem" is deciding what you want to do with all there is to do within a 30 minute drive. . . specially when the cabin is so comfy and cozy.

| We have just returned from our delightful stay at Valley View Cabin. As advertised, the cabin is secluded, nestled among trees that provide ample shade; we enjoyed moderate to cool temperatures that were a break from the normal heat and humidity we get in a Washington, DC area summer. Clean and comfortable, the cabin has a wonderful screened porch that is great for reading and relaxing. The cabin is located close to several of the parking spots for trails in the Dupont Forest; there are numerous waterfalls well worth the hikes. The cabin kitchen is equipped for meal preparation, but should the desire to visit a restaurant arise, both Brevard and Hendersonville are within easy driving distance. Brevard also has many interesting shops to visit. We recommend this vacation spot to any who likes peaceful, quiet locations with mountain views, morning mist, and recreational opportunities. |
