Our wonderful wedding weekend ended yesterday as we left about 7:00 AM. Your home is so lovely and more than adequate for such a large group of people. We had a rehearsal dinner there Friday night and then a Brunch on Sunday. The weather was beautiful from Friday on. What a gorgeous view of the water. We even saw dolphins on Sunday!

This is a special place to stay and spend quality time with your family & friends. We enjoyed the serene views and the comfortable arrangement of the house. The children had room to play inside and out and as soon as we left to go in town for awhile, we all were longing to go back to the peaceful bayhouse. This particular bayhouse helped us make many sweet memories with our friends from Fairhope, our relatives and children. We hope to go back at least once a year if not more:)

| What great place to stay, I am not usually a morning person but I could not wait to get up each morning and enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sun come up of the bay. It's very close to town so you can run in an pick up that item you might have forgot to pack. I found the internet connection very handy to search out local restaturants and things to do. It's close to Gulf shores that you can make the day trip over and back in time to see the beautiful sunset. Your just down the road from the swanky Grand Hotel for some very fine dining and golf. I was able to fill the pot with crabs caught right there off the wharf. Talk about some good eating. Thanks again can't wait till next time we make it down. |

Whata great place to decompress. We took the kids and my mom and dad and had tons of room. The set up is perfect. I'm not one to wake up before dawn but I was compelled every morning to sit and watch the sun come up over the bay with my cup of brew. This was true peace. If you are looking for a place to relax catch some fish and strive to do nothing this is the place. Don't forget to check out the lady that sells local honey and soaps across the street. We loved it and hope to make it down every year! Thanks, Skip and the Family |

| We found the perfect place to host a weekend out with the girls. We had 10 girls stay for a weekend of bachelorette fun and the Grand Spa relaxation just down the road. The place was so spacious and clean. We are planning on having a couples’ weekend over the summer. Priced reasonably, beautiful view. The communication with the owner is top notch. Bay View, we will be back!! |

We found Bay Village to be very comfortable and we had beautiful weather and of course, awesome bay views while there!!!! Thank you, too, for being prompt with the deposit return! I so appreciate that! I hope we will be able to do this again in the future and I wish you and your family a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Thanks so much! Vivian

| Bay Village was the PERFECT venue for my husband's surprise 30th birthday party. The home is so spacious, our 30-some-odd guests had no problem making themsleves right at home. We brought down tons of groceries and prepared everything on-site. The kitchen is stocked with all the tools we needed to create our "spread". The house was so big and comfy, we didn't even need the tables and chairs that we set up downstairs. The view is spectacular - I could have stayed out on the deck all night long. Oh, and the neighbors are the best! I can't wait to visit again! |

| We rented Bay Village for my daughter's wedding week in August and found it wonderful for relaxing and entertaining. For a relatively small house it feels surprisingly spacious, with plenty of separate conversation areas. The deck and pier are great, and the neighbors (Ralph and Wendy) were very helpful when we needed anything. We will be back! |

What a great place to stay at for a Family reunion. I rented Bay Village to celebrate my upcoming 60th birthday next Nov. The house was clean and ready for us to start our vacation. Plenty of places to sleep and have fun. I had 3 grand kids, 6 kids, me and my wife here at one time and we had plenty of room to find a place to sit and have some one-on-one time with everybody. We sat and watched the sunset each morning and had plenty to do with the fishing, crabbing and swimming galore. We met Ralph and Wendy next door and they were there whenever we needed them.Ralph is a great example of a Southern Gentleman. He blew up the floats for the kids, took us tubing behind his boat, and was just an all around asset to us. We spent a day at Waveland in Gulf Shore (30 minutes away) and had a nice long walk everyday on the "low traffic" road that is CR1. Beautiful days, great nights, serenity and no problems with noisy neighbors. I highly recommend this property to anyone that wants a vacation they will never forget. |

| You can't beat waking up to nothing but water, seagulls, and sunshine. We didn't want to leave! The house feels far enough away from "civilization" to evoke deep serenity, but restaurants and shops and other attractions are only a ten-minute drive away. I recently stayed in a Myrtle Beach Hilton that has nothing on the clean and kept atmosphere of this place. Can't wait to come back. And it's dog friendly! |

If you asked me why I came I would tell you that I read a book "The Poet of Tolstoy Park," by Sonny Brewer. I was so intrigued by the book that I told my husband, "We have to go to Fairhope." The author continues to live in Fairhope as well as a multitude of other well known authors and artists.
But why did we stay and why are we coming back? The moment we walked into "Bay Village" we felt at home. The house with its panoramic view of Mobile Bay has good karma. This is a place for your soul to catch up with your body. The house is like slipping on your favorite pair of slippers after a long day at work and saying "…aaah". The accommodations are very comfortable. The owners of the house have several paintings on the walls by local artists. One painting of a pair of red tennis shoes hanging from a clothes line brought a smile to my face each time I looked at it—-wondering how the shoes got wet, who wore them, and…..but, I digress. . There are several cozy seating and dining areas within the home as well as a large deck. Our small Jack Russell took command of the long dock chasing the sea gulls, but I’m sure it would be a great spot to bring a book, a cold beverage and drop a line with the intent of fishing.
Downtown "old" Fairhope is delightful with a rich history. We parked the car (no meters) and strolled from one unique store to another. There is an abundance of book and antique stores, as well as excellent restaurants. Fairhope even boasts its own French Quarter. Leaving Fairhope and driving South on scenic 98 you pass the Grand Hotel; slow down and pull in for another stop at Punta Clara's Kitchen where homemade candies are available for sampling and shipping. Exquisite chocolate! Pause and enjoy a glass of wine on the veranda before continuing down to Pelican Point. Here you can set on the brick wall, talk with local fisherman, and if you are lucky you can see the dolphins swim by. What I just described is within 10 miles of the back door of Bay Village. Golf Shores and Orange Beach are about 30 minutes South of Bay Village. The pace is quicker in this distinctively developed tourist area. We stopped at LuLu's, Jimmy Buffet's sister's restaurant for shrimp; but, after lunch and touring Fort Morgan and spending time in this area, we were ready to point the car north and come "home".
Do you write, do you paint, do you crave solitude, do you want to explore civil war history, or do you simply want a spot where all the family can gather? Then Bay Village is the place to go, and yes it actually can sleep 12 to 14 people comfortably and you won't trip over one another. We were so enchanted with this area, we left our deposit for next year. The neighbors are great; and Licia Cameron the rental agent, was very professional in helping us.
My husband, standing on the deck at night said, "This truly is the place where the stars fell on Alabama." Come and enjoy!

| We arrived in the wee hours of the morning on July 13th. When we walked in and turned on the lights, we were greeted by a simple, but beautiful bay side home. We were all tired and sleepy, but we had to wander around and check out all the rooms before we decided to go to sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Bay Village, even though it stormed on us Saturday in Mobile, and also rained on us again Sunday. We still had a good time and enjoyed this beautiful home. Thanks Licia, we loved it. |

Very relaxing stay at the house because it's perfect for kids! We could put the older children (4 and 5 yrs) in the enclosed porch area to play and the baby could crawl to his knee's content in the separate living area. Had 3 kids, hubby, grandmother and myself there for a week and never felt cramped. There is space for everyone! Love the open kitchen and pier too. Made lots of wonderful memories even though it rained off and on the whole week. Thanks again from Texas!

| Craig, Hinds (21 months), Myers (9 months) and I had a wonderful time at Bay Village. The accommodations were wonderful. We could not have chosen a better place to spend several stress-free days. We will return again in the near future. Thanks for the enjoyable experience! Laura Duncan |
