My husband and I spent a fabulous week in Berlin during Oct. 2009. What an incredible City so much to do and see. One week not enough we plan to return in the not too distant future. When we do go back to Berlin we will stay at the Parkview Apartments again. Location is perfect. Not too far from the airport and main train station and the underground. Just around the corner grocery stores restaurants, everything that you require. Thank you Stephan for your prompt reply to our e-mails, your welcome when we arrived and the loan of the travel guides and all the info you provided, it was so helpful for getting us started with our visit to Berlin. The apartment was great, so quiet and the most comfortable bed we have slept in for a long time. We would recommend Berlin and the Parkview Apartment to anyone. Keep up the good work Stephan hope to meet again soon.

We stayed in this very comfortable apartment for two weeks in July of 2009. The owner, Stefan, is fluent in English and helped us settle in comfortably. The apartment is very roomy with good sized kitchen and bathroom. There are two large grocery stores near by (closed on Sundays) and many cozy restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. The access to transportation was great with buses, trams, and the U-Bahn all within a few hundred yards (meters). We found that we could easily walk to Museum Island and the shops along the way were a delight (be sure stop in "Who Killed Bambi"). The apartment's bedroom is facing a large inner courtyard so street noise was never a problem. This is where we will stay the next time we go to Berlin.

Great studio apartment - really enjoyed the amenities of having a kitchen and balcony overlooking the beautiful park. Even though Berlin was in the middle of a heat wave, the apartment was pleasantly cool at night - no need for air conditioning. Stefan was very helpful, and we loved Berlin. Definitely would recommend this condo.

Mornings and evenings on a balcony overlooking beautiful, peaceful Weinsbergspark used by all ages. The energy and ambiance of the Kastien- allee neighborhood of outdoor cafés (open to 24:00), shops and businesses serving the needs young families and travelers. The atmosphere of historic buildings in renovation. The convenience of trams and U-bahn directly to Museum Island, Friedrichstrasse, Alexanderplatz and beyond. A very comfortable apartment with a completely furnished kitchen for meal preparation and enjoyment after a full day of sightseeing. And a very accessible apartment owner/manager in Stefan Hiller. We’ll be back. |

I had a wonderful experience in the Sepia Suite Studio. I stayed for 4 nights in July 2009. The location was great -- close to the metro and a walk up the hill to Prenzlauer Berg. Stefan was wonderful -- he pointed me in the direction of the closest internet cafe (I don't travel with a laptop), helped my buy the correct Welcome Card, and arranged for my taxi to the airport upon departure. Nola's (in the park next to the apartment) was great for dinner.

This apartment is perfectly situated in close walking distance to all the major sites. We found the apartment well stocked, the host helpful, and most of all we found that we could walk to all of the major sites and the grocery market was just a few blocks away. Would recommend this studio apartment to other couples.

Our week-long stay in Berlin was comfortable and affordable due to this fantastic studio apartment. The owner was most hospitable, making himself available for all of our needs, including arranging a taxi for the early morning of our departure! The kitchen had everything required for our breakfast and dinner meals, which saved us a bunch! The grocery store was a few blocks away, a bakery on the corner, a drug store across the street, the U-Bahn Rosenthal Platz right around the corner! The location is in Mitte and within minutes of most of the sights. We found we could get just about anywhere in the city in 10-20 minutes easily. There was plenty of hot water, the apartment was clean, and we would have really enjoyed the balcony in warmer weather. If you have a child, there is a fantastic playground just outside the building, but we never had issues with noise in the morning or evening. I recommend this place to anyone who is going to Berlin - for days or weeks! Thank you, Stefan!

This was my first trip to Berlin. I was part of a study abroad program. I wanted to live like a Berliner to enjoy the true culture of the local residents versus a hotel-trapped tourist. Stefan welcomed me with a pre-warmed apartment to make sure I was warm upon my arrival. I spent my first afternoon in this lovely loft looking out my window watching children in festive winter clothes sleighing down a snow-white hill on wooden sleighs, in a park, with Alexanderplatz's famous radio tower in the background...a few minutes walk away. It gets better from there for the next ten days. Come and discover it for yourself. I took Stefan's suggestion and ate at Nola's...yum and I discovered Hans and Crystel at Weinwirtschaft 28 for a romantic delicious home-cooked meal and Marrakech for made to order falafels or doners (gyros)...all a few steps from your front door. I look forward to many returns to Berlin and join Berliners to enjoy the park, outside my window, in the spring, summer and fall. Stefan was a most considerate host that truly set the mood for my wonderful Berlin visit.

We stayed here for one week in November and could not have been happier. The owner was extremely accessible via e-mail when I made the reservation and/or had any questions. All information regarding our stay was given to us prior (i.e.local transportation, grocery shopping etc) and was spot on. Grocery stores, wine shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants all within very close walking distances. The wifi in the apt. was great! The apartment was clean, comfortable and best of all VERY QUIET! We loved our stay and are looking towards a future visit in this flat or one of the owner's others. Also - this was our first time staying in an apt. rather than a hotel. I never want to travel any other way in the future.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying here. The apartment was bright, clean, safe and very comfortable. The apartment was fully stocked with absolutely everything necessary living up to and surpassing the description and images shown in the listing. Upon arrival, we were met by a friendly representative that walked us through all features and amenities of the apartment, the building and the immediate neighbourhood. The apartment is very well situated in the east of Berlin close to major subway stations, streetcar and bus routes. Excellent cafés and grocery stores (including a 24 hr Kaiser) are all just minutes away (seconds in some cases!). The proprietor promptly responded to questions and provided a wealth of information during the inquiry period of our booking. We highly recommend this apartment for singles or couples. Families should inquire about the proprietor's larger, 1 bedroom apartment located in the same building. |

We stayed for a week in early September and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is new, light and airy with tasteful and minimal decor. It is very convenient, close to the fantastic Berlin transportation system and other amenities. As you normally go to the u Bahn left of the building, be sure to walk in the other direction and you will find a delightful neighborhood with interesting restaurants, shops etc. Unfortunately, for us, we discovered this area only on our last day. We loved Berlin. It is easy to get around and is a lively, vibrant city full of history, beautiful architecture and culture. When we return we are planning to rent from Stefan again.

The studio is in a very advantageous location - close to city center and opening on a park, away from street. It is very nicely furnished and well maintained. Highly recommended. |

My husband Kevin and I stayed in this apartment for a week when we were Berlin this January (2008), and we had a fantastic stay here. This apartment is in a great location--right around the corner from the subway, and minutes from Alexanderplatz, Museum Island, and many other sites. It is also walking distance from a couple of supermarkets (Kaiser is fantastic!), the laundrymat, and right across the street from a nice park with a good restaurant. The cafe downstairs, Cafe Melz has great food, and the staff there is very friendly. The only down side was that there was no WI-FI, so we had to check our email at an internet cafe, but even that was not a big deal. And I see from the new description of the apartment that WI-FI is now available--so this is not an issue anymore. I would highly recommend this apartment, and when I return to Berlin, I intend to once again stay at this fabulous apartment!

I spent a month at this apartment and highly recommend it for short or long stays in Berlin. It is within easy walking or public transit distance Hackescher Markt, Nordbahnhof, and Alexanderplatz, so it is easy to get everywhere. The apartment is pretty and comfortable, with a great view. "Extra" on Invalidenstrasse provides the best goceries; there are lots of cafes and restauants in the area, including a very friendly one that is part of the complex (Cafe Malz). Can't wait to stay there again!

Great apartment in the centre of Berlin (Mitte) Ideal for a couple. A few minutes walk to the U8 (Rosenthaler Platz) and a short bus ride to Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main train station). There are some decent bars, restaurants and cafes in walking distance of the apartment. I would highly recommend it as an alternative to a hotel if staying for a few days in Berlin
