Comment: What a beautiful home in which to relax and enjoy a mini family reunion! We walked the local beaches, sipped coffee on the deck, and drank in marvelous views. We enjoyed local restaraunts and cooking our own gourmet meals. Very accommodating hosts. Most relaxing vacation ever! |

Homeowner Response:
The Stellmon crew were one of two families coming from Utah -- one other was one of our six Honeymoon Couples this summer. The opportunity to share the The Haven and Seventh Haven is made special by families like theirs. We read and enjoy the comments in the "real Guestbook" in the home and these on line as rewards for the service option of hosting through VRBO.

| We had a family reunion at this beautiful home. We stayed there very comfortably with ten people. The six children had a great time playing in and around the house. The setting is very unique and special in that you get to enjoy the forest view (it really feels like a tropical jungle) out of the back of the house and the ocean view from the front. It was a bit of a hike to get to the beach however. The town of Yachats is very quaint and has many great places to dine. The Younts are very gracious and laid back hosts and most anyone will be impressed by their lovely home. I would definately reccomend this well appointed house for families looking to spend some quality time together in a private setting. The master bath is to die for! |

Homeowner Response:
Idaho families have apparently discovered the central Oregon Coast. The Peterson's were one of three families from that state. Nice people--hope they return.
Linda and I agree that the hill is a challenge -- try pulling the garbage cans up!! As a result we have obtained electric (silently running) 4-wheel ATV's for three purposes. #1 Pulling garbage cans--practical but prosaic. #2 Taking in the Oregon dunes and beaches on very fun non-polluting quiet riding devices. #3 Taking the back road through old growth forest to Cape Perpetua -- a must adventure for the most ready. These are available for parallel discount rental when staying at The Haven or Seventh Haven

| Wow! What a lovely home! It was so beautiful, we had a hard time leaving. The surrounding forest at the back of the home renders a feeling of seclusion and the front of the home offers a great view of the ocean. We loved eating dinner on the deck with the view of the ocean through the trees. The masterbed/bathroom was also very romantic. It was everything we hoped it would be. Thank you! |

Justin and his wife were wonderful guests. Linda and I hope that they and other young (or old) honeymooners take advantage of the Oregon Coast every anniversary.

We are happy to share The Haven with couples seeking a honeymoon or reunion enclosure, or families simply seeking a secluded setting near the beach for memorable time together. We have been blessed to be able to acquire this home with a special blend of forest solitude, an ocean beach view, and close access to the beach without the pressure of public exposure that is coupled with a property immediately on the sand.
As soon as most couples enter the master suite they want to stay and enjoy long recurrent encounters with the forest outside the bath area that holds a rare sense of immediacy (try lighting the forest at night and sitting in a candlelit tub), or sit perched on the reading nook at the other end of the bedroom watching the waves and sunset. Up to nine black tail deer have been seen in the open meadow below The Haven.
