Alan, just like to say how much we enjoyed staying at your cabin. It was really centrally located for Canon City and Westcliff. We played golf at the course at the bottom of the hill and did lots of great hikes in Westcliff. We like the deer in the front yard and not to mention we got to see a bear while walking on the Grape Creek access road. Thanks again for a great week in the mountains. Tony and Wendy

What a wonderful place to stay for the Thanksgiving holiday! Extremely clean and comfortable. Wood stove kept the whole place toasty warm. Surrounding property was wonderful to explore and the view was magnificent! Would recommend this place to anyone who is planning a trip to the area!

We were SO pleasantly surprised! Only seeing it on the Internet weren't really sure WHAT to expect! It exceeded our expectations! Great decks on both front and back with beautiful views. Bed in master bedroom was as comfortable as being at home. Loved watching the sun rise from the back deck and watching the sunset over the mountains as they faded into a silouette. Clean, and with all the amenities of home. Lots of deer, etc. to see. When we went the end of September the aspen around were turning all shades of chartreause, gold, orange and even red - just spectacular! It was lovely and cool. HIGHLY recommend!

We've rented several properties in various states, and this was definitely one of our favorites. The meadow with mountains in the distance was so beautiful and peaceful. The home was very comfortable. P.S. We never missed having AC and we were there in August. |

This cabin was very beautiful, clean and updated. Very private in a gorgeous setting. People going during the summer should realize there is no central air but up in the mountains you seem to always get a pretty good breeze. Still temperature wise a little uncomfortable in July. We enjoyed sitting on the front and back porch watching the wildlife. Absolutely a beautiful setting.

Homeowner Response:
I would just like to say that summer temperatures in the mountains at the house average mid 40s at night and mid 70s in the day so there is no need for central air some times we can get a heat wave for a few day where it can get in the 80s. Thanks Alan

What an awesome place. The house was beautiful and the area was beyond what we had expected. We weren't familiar with this part of Colorado because all people really hear about is Rocky Mountain National and the bigger ski resort towns, but the Sangres rival them all in views and things to do. We will definately be returning. Would highly recommend to anyone considering visiting.
