I just got back from spending an amazing 5 days in
Maggie Valley and I must say that Copper Top was
the perfect cabin to call home for a few days. I
truly felt at home in this cabin - from the woodsy
decor to the family friendly set-up, everything
about this cabin screams "home".
The living area is open and spacious, with a
beautiful fireplace that makes it the perfect spot to
sit around and just be together.
The second floor loft has the most incredible view
of the Smokies that I have ever seen. Sitting up
there while reading a book was the most relaxing
thing I've done in a long time!
However, the basement (Called Copper Top Game
Room) was not relaxing - it was SO MUCH FUN! We
played pool, air hockey, foozball, checkers, baseball
and the videogames never did stop. It was the
perfect place to plug in the iPod, turn the music up
(they have a great sound system down there) and
just let loose. It really did make us feel like kids
again! Having a room like this is such a great bonus
(especially if you have kids!!!).
In my opinion, this cabin was the perfect place to
spend my days in Maggie Valley. I didn't feel like I
was staying in a rental property -- I felt like I was a
guest in someone's home -- and you just can't put
a price on that feeling. As I was packing up and
getting ready to head home, I found myself already
making plans to return! That's how much I loved
this perfect vacation home! If you are on the fence
about trying this place out, take my word for it - it's
Fantastic and I have no doubt you and your family
will enjoy it as much as we did! Thanks so much to
the owners of Copper Top -- You have really
figured out how to do this the right way! See you in
