Our stay was fantastic; the only bad thing about it being that it lasted only 2 days. It is great to stay in a house that seems inhabited, instead of cold and impersonal - and we loved the way it was inhabited! Having music and books around is always a bonus. The place itself is very beautiful; a friend who came to pick us up said she remembered having one day bought a bike there - I wonder if that is possible?
All is convenient, and the washing machine very appreciated in Iceland (we had encountered none in 2 weeks and had to use our friends).
I suspect it would not be a problem for most Icelanders but we had trouble to sleep. We did not manage to get the internet to work but I guess this has more to do with my computer which was asking passwords.
We are looking forward to our next stay in Reykjavik and have no doubt about where we will stay!
