We came to New Buffalo for a family reunion and needed a large home to sleep, entertain and relax in. This house was perfect because it was large enough to be together or separate. Loved the bonus room and the master bedroom closet. The walk in closet was used as a nursery for our twin toddlers. Because it had air conditioning and a window it was like another bedroom! House was clean, beautifully appointed and owners were a pleasure to work with. Will come back!!! |

We came up for a couple of days with our young-adult son and two of his friends, and just couldn't get over the amount of space this house has to offer. Not only are there the four separate bedrooms, there's also a charming upper-level playroom over the garage. (Our kids regressed and spent a lot of time playing with the Legos up there.) Then there's the screened-in porch leading to an open deck -- perfect for reading a book -- and the family room with games and TV downstairs, great for keeping late hours while other people are sleeping. The neighborhood is ultra-quiet but just a short block off the main road, where the shops and restaurants begin. We had a very restful time getting away from it all and -- whenever we needed to -- each other.

We stayed in the house for 6 days and had a wonderful time. The house is very new, spacious and clean. There was plenty of room and amenities. The town is great and we have fallen in love with New Buffalo. The beach was perfect for the kids. I would definately recommend the house to anyone wanting to visit New Buffalo and plan to come back next year.

This house was a great find! We loved the view of the woods and the wide open feel of the kitchen and great room. Bedrooms and bathrooms were plentiful. It is a beautiful house and very well maintained. The location is really nice. The house is a few blocks from shops and restaurants in town and the beach is just a few blocks past town. The owner was friendly, responsive and very helpful. Our experience was very positive.

My family spent a week at the ravine retreat and had a wonderful time. The house is large and and in beautiful condition. We especially enjoyed sitting on the screen porch overlooking the ravine. We felt like we were in a country estate not a house that was conveniently located a short walk to the town and beach. This is a great place for a vacation.

We stayed for the week of 6/14/08 and were extremely happy with the house and the location - an easy walk to downtown and the beach. The house is laid out so that although it is in a residental area, while inside you feel you are in the middle of a forest. There are 2 1/2 levels and the pictures really don't convey how much room there is. We had 6 adults and a child and there were still unused beds. The kitchen is well equipped and we ended up having more family prepared meals than expected. IMO a great value.

WE recently stayed for a week at the Ravine Retreat, and had a very enjoyable stay. The house is just a few years old and in great condition with plenty of room for our large family. Almost all of the attractions in New Buffalo are within walking or biking distance. The owner made the arrangements for our stay promptly with out any problems and was great to work with. This home is perfect for a relaxing stay, and we plan to return next year.

We rented this house for a long weekend and loved the location. It was within walking distance to town and restaurants. The house was roomy and comfortable. All appliances were up to date and we had everything we needed. VRBO is a wonderful website and we certainly enjoyed this house. There were three couples and we all had our own baths. That is a big plus! We will be back!
