Thanks for a great 3 days! Fishing was slow but we had fun. We rented a pontoon boat to fish off of so that was fun. The house was really cool as well as the dock and gazebo.

We only had a short time to enjoy our pontoon boat as the weather was uncooperative (rain and cool temps) but we did get to the Rusty Anchor and the Yacht Club. Dear Andy and Ellen,
We stayed at this property June 14-21st, just in time for Father's Day. My family and extended family came for the day and we ALL agreed this was the best Father's Day we've ever had!! The gazebo was the prime spot to be in, with the ocean like breeze, lake view as far as you can see, and the sound of soft waves hitting the shore. Even for June weather the gazebo stayed shaded and cool. Everyone loved swimming in the water and the stairs made it very easy to get in and out. My cousin stopped by and went fishing. He caught 11 catfish, 7 of those during the day! We were fortunate enough to be at your home during the Summer Solstice and every night spent hours outside just looking at the full moon over the water. You really do have a magical place. Thank You so much for sharing this property. We loved it so much, we changed our wedding date and venue to have it there! |

We took our family vacation here and had a great time. The house is great. The ladies love the huge bathtub. Steve has loved listening to his XM down in the gazebo. Our vacation at this lovely home was everything I imagined for my family and more. We enjoyed relaxing together in the gazebo (always seemed to be pleasantly breezy there), kayaking, fishing, and my favorite, just enjoying the beautiful view (especially on the deck in the quiet mornings with a cup of coffee and a good book).

Our stay at your home was so pleasant, relaxing, and very fun. It was so nice to get away from home for a while. We had family from Columbia come to stay with us and family from home come as well. The dock and the gazebo were so relaxing. We spent most of our time sunbathing on the dock, reading under the gazebo, and fishing. My friends and I caught tons of fish off the dock. It was very fun. My dad brought his boat and riding all over the lake was amazing. We didn't realize how big this lake was. The houses and the scenery are so beautiful here. The best part about our stay was sitting on the dock the night of 4th of July watching the fireworks shoot off all around the lake. It was amazing. Thanks again for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

| We had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful vacation rental property for 3 weeks. We were here for business reasons and wanted to avoid an extended stay while in the area. We found this nice-looking property on-line. You will realize the pictures and description are very modest once you have had the chance to see this property in person. Although we love our home in Chattanooga, we could not get enough of this place and quite honestly did not miss being away. Everything about this property was relaxing. We ate dinner almost every night on the deck. I enjoyed reading out on the gazebo during the day. Although the weather was heating up, the breeze off the lake made sitting outside pleasant, and shade covered the deck for evening meals. We listened to the birds, enjoyed watching the fish and turtles in the water, (and some turtles on land), and played in the kayaks. We walked around the quiet neighborhood and just liked looking out on the lake. The home is decorated in good taste that is further enhanced by the soothing glow that filters in from the sun and lake. This home has more amenities than our own home! You will not be disappointed. Not only will you be staying in one of the nicest rentals available, you will also be renting from two of the nicest people. We had a wonderful experience here and we know you will too! |
