We stayed at Brookhaven Rest twice this last
summer and had a fabulous time. While it is an
older mobile home with era furnishings, it was
extremely comfortable. Everything including a
fabulous giant grill (new) on the deck worked
perfectly, and the setting, while private, is centrally
located to all the attractions in the area. The first
time we stayed it was just my wife and me for a
relaxing long weekend. The second time we used it
for a mini family reunion with our sons and my 86-
year old dad. We had a fabulous time, caught all
the fish we wanted, and had plenty of space to sit,
visit, and re-connect. We look forward to
returning in 2009. Thank you Nedra and David for
offering this property - it is a great value. |

| we stayed there in the summer of 08 it was great the house is very clean,we did some fishing in the creek and caught some good size fish. I would recommend this place to any one.We will be back again and are bringing our friends |

We had a great time at this property. We have 2 small children and had to watch them around the creek but the fishing was great!
There's plenty of room inside. The decor is dated but the place is clean.
The owners were very helpful and considerate. |

I stayed here in the summer of 2007. The property was very nice and peacefull while conviently located just on the opposite side of the creek from highway 89. The decor is some what dated but it is well maintained. I loved BBQ'ing on the porch while listening to the creek and having a fire in the evenings in the firepit off of the porch. The bunk room worked great as both the kids bedroom (what kid doesn't like bunk beds) and play room. Nedra and Dave were great hosts in working out the details. The house is well stocked with all of the bedding and kitchen neccesities and even a few family board games. All you have to bring is your personell things and enjoy the peacefull surroundings. Nearby Subway cave is a must see, even for the little ones. And Lassen Park is not far, for some great day adventures. It was a great stay. Thank you Nedra and Dave.
