We had such a lovely time at River Run. The accommodations were perfect. We thought we would venture to town and do other activities in the area, but we found the setting too perfect and stayed there until it was time to check out. The photos do not capture just how beautiful the house and its surroundings are. The gazebo was such a perfect place to relax by the river, and our young kids (3 and 8)had such fun playing in the water. After an afternoon tubing down the river, the hot tub was a perfect place to relax.

Huge cabin. Beautiful spot on the river. Wadable even for toddlers. Rainbow trout right in front of the cabin. Midway down the Toccoa Valley Campground tubing route. Owner very good to work with.

We stayed at River Run last June for a family reunion and had the very best time! Young and older had so much fun. Good for small kids due to the shallow area of the river right by the bank but river deep enough in the middle for tubing every day! Bring your own tubes and go for it. We will be back in 2008l

Happy New Year! I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time at your cabin in Blue Ridge over the New Year's holiday. Your place is beautiful and so spacious! The pictures you have on the VRBO website do not do the cabin justice! We loved the kitchen and how spacious and open it was to the living area. It made it fun to be cooking dinner for the group while watching football and playing board games at the giant dinning room table!
The back porch was a favorite hangout while the weather was warm enough! It was so big and inviting and the view of the river is fantastic! Our group really enjoyed ourselves and we look forward to going back again!

Just returned from a long weekend stay at River Run Cabin in Blue Ridge with friends and family and I have to say it was very difficult to leave. Our children rarely were out of the river, they fished, floated and kayaked. It is the most serene, relaxing place and we loved the rocking chairs and huge deck space. We all agree that we will be returning again, sooner rather than later. Our family has fallen in love with this place.

We visited this house for a long weekend last fall and it was such a relaxing experience. The best part was that it was spacious enough to accommodate 7 adults and 5 children very comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped and the layout is perfect for those with families. We especially liked dining at the riverside gazebo and listening to the river flow right by. The house is tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and great storage. The numerous decks allow for lots of relaxing and reading while still being able to watch the kids play in the yard. The proximity is great. You are secluded enough to enjoy peace and quiet, yet close enough to Blue Ridge to enjoy the cute downtown shops and other area amenities. We love tubing down the river and this house is great for that. Just drop in right there. We highly recommend this house and can’t wait for our return visit.

We stayed at River Run for a family reunion/40th birthday celebration and couldn't have imagined a better setting for our get together. With the weather a bit unseasonably cold for my tastes, we still found that there were just not enough hours in the day and the vacation just too short. The children, safely sequestered in the downstairs family room, passed hours playing games, watching movies and building memories of time spent bonding with their cousins. And the adults enjoyed the peaceful coziness of the upstairs family room complete with comfy couches, plush blankets and amazing views outside towards the river. The open plan kitchen and dining area made for great family meals allowing everyone to be involved (thanks Consuela for all those fab meals!!) We all remember those childhood vacations - hours of time without a care in the world - and River Run provided the perfect back drop with loads of space, indoors and outside, for the children and adults alike. The town of Blue Ridge is very quaint, and dont miss out on the opportunity to knock a few pins down at the local bowling alley. And for you diehard shoppers there is an outlet mall about an hour away - the ride to which carries you through some very picturesque winding country roads.

We stayed here in April and highly recommend this huge house for families and reunions. The home is spacious, had ample room for our three families, and a great kitchen/dining/great room for family meals. The kids loved being right on the river for fishing and the adults enjoyed relaxing on the large, private deck and gazebo. There are plenty of activities for everyone - Blue Ridge is right around the corner. We will definitely plan another fam reunion here and next time we'll try the tubing!

We had an amazing time! We actually plan to visit River Run annually with our family. It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 children. We had lots of time to relax and unwind because the kids had plenty of things to keep them occupied. The kitchen is well equipped for gourmet meals and we loved the dining area. We spent a lot of time on the deck and in the gazebo relaxing and enjoying the scenery. We hated to leave! Thank you for making our vacation so special!

My family and I stayed at River Run for the weekend and loved it! We loved the house itself - it's very large and spacious, tastefully decorated and provides lots of different areas to hang out. Best of all is the house's location. We ate our meals on the large second story deck and watched the river below. We had drinks in the gazebo and relaxed on the swing, both of which sit right on the river. We took a long walk one morning through the forest preserve next to the house. It was so nice to just walk right out into nature like that and not have to drive to a trail. We went into Blue Ridge one morning which has lots of character and great little shops. We plan to go again and ride the train, which has daily sight seeing trips. River Run is a beautiful, secluded, spacious escape for families or a group of friends. We definately plan on visiting again with both!!
