| My wife and I love staying in the stone house. Great location and very compfortable. The best feature is that it is dog friendly. We don't like to board our dogs, and they love the yard at the Stone House. Can't wait to come back again. |

I loved staying at the Stone House when my
daughter returned to Washington &Lee for her
sophomore year. The location was convenient for
her to visit during the hectic time of moving in to
her room at the sorority house. Her friends joined
me for dinner one night which was a huge success.
We had so much fun that they begged me to stay
another night! Thanks Tom for your southern
hospitality! |

This is instantly a home away from home and a step
back in time. The house is very comfortable and
charming and the yard is great for people and dogs
alike. The location is perfect access to downtown,
trails and area sights. What a treat! |

| The Stone House was just wonderful. It was so nice that the entire town of Lexington was a short walk past VMI. The fireplace was gorgeous and I sat outside for hours! I think your place is my all time favorite historic rental to stay in and i cant wait to visit your others! |

| My husband and I loved visiting Lexington and staying at the beautiful Stone House. The location was perfect. We were able to walk into downtown Lexington to enjoy dinner and explore the campuses of VMI and Washington and Lee. Dinner at the Bistro was fabulous! Also, we would highly recommend tubing down the James River. It could not have been more beautiful! We hope to return to the Stone House for another visit with our children really soon. Thanks! |

| We stayed at the Old Stone House May 27-May 30, 2005 and had a wonderful visit to the town of Lexington. The house is unique, clean, homey and the upstairs bedroom was my favorite - it is so cozy with the fireplace and old wood plank floors. We could not have had a more convenient place to stay since it's "around the corner" from about everything. Entry into the house through the garden gate - That side door entrance should be one of the "Doors of Lexington." You did good, Tom! |

| 5/9/05 My families stay at the Stonehouse this last weekend was fantastic. The house is beautiful as well as comfortable. Everyone who came up for our son' graduation, were envious of our lodging. I would highly recommend the house for a get away anytime. |
