The house was better than we expected from the photographs. It is quite spacious and open on the first floor.
What a beautiful spot and a great house! Birthday dinner party was great with 10 of us sitting around the table very comfortably. I enjoyed sitting in the screened porch and watching the sun shimmering on the water in the morning.
It is surprisingly close to downtown New Haven (20 min?) so I had no trouble driving in to go to dinner, see the sites or pick up family and friends.
Branford town center is charming with a classic New England green.

My 3 adult children, their spouses and I stayed at 187 Linden Ave. while attending a family wedding. The house was clean, well equipped,comfortable, very charming and conducive to our relaxing family vacation. The view from the porch is magnificent and we spent hours enjoying it. Two of us even went for a swim during the last week of September. There is a private beach right across the street and it would be perfect for small children.
We definitely plan to visit again! |

| Wonderful property. Very clean plenty of room and a well appointed kitchen which came in handy over the Christmas Holidays. Even though we were there in the winter, the views were gorgeous. Stairs are steep but typical of an older New England cottage. Home is well cared for, the management company very attentive. Close to everything but very private. I am sure this must be a true gem in the summer. As a frequent traveler I would highly recommend this property. |
