| We stayed at this guest house in June. We were pleasantly surprised at how large the house is, and was fully furnished. It is right on the Greenbrier Trail and River. Watoga State park is right across the river with hiking, canoes, and a pool. We also hiked at the other areas nearby-Cranberry Glades, Bear Mountain. We took a couple of day trips. One to the New River Bridge, one to the Radio Telescope. We had a great time! |

| We recently spent a wonderful week in this lovely home on the Greenbrier River. Our family kayaked, biked on the Trail, fished, and saw the local sights. There was a lot to see, from the Civil War Battlefield at Droop Mountain,to Beartown State Park, to the Cranberry Glades, to Pearl S Buck's home in Hillsboro, the Falls of Hills Creek, and Watoga State Park which is just across the river. Snowshoe, Greenbank Observatory, and Cass Railroad are just a short drive away. The wildlife was abundant. We saw beaver, countless deer, grouse, hawks, a bald eagle, and a black bear. The people in the area are friendly and helpful. This area of West Virginia is so beautiful it will take your breath away. It is a little slice of heaven! |
