| Every year our college friends and us get our families together for a weekend vacation! This year we decided to stay somewhat local and look into Michigan City! We found this house and fell in love with the pictures...once we got there we decided that the pictures did not do justice to just how beautiful this house is!!! The views are amazing! The accomadations were incredible! The house was in perfect condition and so clean...the owner even had warm bread ready for us upon our arrival from a local bakery! The owner was extremely wonderful to work with, answered every email/question we had and was an outstanding person to do business with - we felt completely welcomed to her home! There was PLENTY of room for all of us to stay (6 adults and 6 children under the age of 4) - and even more room for more to stay if needed! We plan on renting this house every year for our weekend getaway - The kids loved the DVD players, music on every floor, the kids game room and foosball, the fire pit, the accomadtions we used from the Boardwalk (pool, park, beach access), the kids even LOVED when the weather did not cooperate - to put on their swimsuits and 'swim' in the HUGE master whilrpool! The adults LOVED the views, the Bose system, the great appliances, the many wine chillers and the many fireplaces to play games and have a great time! This house has it all - if you are looking for a fun, beautiful house - with the top of line accomadtions - look no further! Whether it was the comfortable pillow top beds, to the little extras to make the kids and our stay pleasant, the coffee bar, the many decks to enjoy Lake Michigan and even down to making sure we had what we needed for a fun day at the beach (wagon, kite, cooler, blankets, umbrellas, etc)- this house was top of line for having all we needed! We all decided this house had the BEST view in all of the Michigan City area! |
